Jim Rob Is Right - But Conservatives Here Have TWO Jobs To Do!

First - blow off that feeling that we're going to lose, or already have lost! No, we're going to WIN.

First item of business, get invovlved in the Tea Party movement, and give D.C. a whole new influx of conservatives in Congress similar in size and importance to that of the last election - thereby blocking any of Obamas chances of having Congressional support for his machinations. Note too, the Tea Party used the GOP vehicle, not a third party. Reason, third parties are losers, because they don't have the national organization and presence large enough to compete.

FReepers need to get involved locally. There are tens of thousands of empty seats in local district Committees of the GOP across this nation - caused mostly by conservative appathy! Just by showing up regularly, you can be assured of gaining a seat from which you can VOTE - go to your county committees and vote there - and go to your state party conventions and vote there! (I personally helped see the ouster of liberal GOP control of the California GOP. Yes it was hard work, but we won - and that win has been, and can be duplicated in these perilous times through the 'hard work' of just SHOWING UP!)

Conservatives have a chance to block Obama, if not replace him. We CAN do that, but conservatives can not win by voting third-party - it's a throw-away vote that nets nothing.

The current GOP-E is NOT the friend of FREEDOM - but they are a very tiny group of RINO's that we can beat the snot out of - simply by doing what we can at the local district and state level. We - FReepers, and other dedicated conservatives - can and have ultimately fielded who becomes part of the GOP establishment. We need to OWN it like we did in the Reagan era, not destroy it through lack of attention to our God given orders to be 'watchmen on the wall' of who become our leaders.

No - it's not too late to shoulder your own responsibility - and earn your own right to say, 'I have fought the good fight, and WE WON.' There will be many opportunities in coming days to 'get involved' - don't let them slip by. Take advantage of the huge opportunities - you can, and will make a difference! It is quite fulfilling to debate hated RINO's FACE TO FACE - WIN when the vote is tallied - and see them denied a seat in party or public office!

Last but not least - we ALL need to get behind our Freepathon. Isn't it worth at least a dollar per day to you to come here, read, post, laugh and debate? Yes, I know, times are rough, and the 'cost of living' has gone way up. But, I'll bet you blow a lot on chocolate cake and ice cream or (insert your favorite deserts) - I, unfortunately, do! So let's all try to push this FReepathon toward an early completion - it might help save your waistline! LOL

“NEVER! Obama is a plague on this nation!

You people who are scared to death of Obama crack me up. He’s pathetic. Lazy. Ineffective. And many in his own party don’t like him.

You’re going to replace that with a driven, efficient, self-serving, corrupt, crpyto-leftist with a taste for and track record of destroying conservatives?

How stupid are you?”

That kinda sounds like a backhanded endorsement of obama to me and an insult to conservatives! Is that right, eh??

Dang, if you have already given up all hope, why are you still hanging around spreading doom and gloom, eh?

It's called reality pal.

Hope has to lie in the Lord, not in institutions of men. The root cause of our national problems is spiritual. We are being destroyed because we have lost our wisdom of both our Christian heritage and our history (Hosea 4:6).

The Prophet Jeremiah loved his country, and his own people hated him for speaking the truth about what would happen to them if they did not repent. Eventually God told Jeremiah not to even pray for his people any longer, because judgment was being pronounced on the entire nation for it's collective sins.

John Adams wrote a warning that falls along those same lines: "The people in America have now the best opportunity and the greatest trust in their hands that Providence ever committed to so small a number ... if they betray their trust, their guilt will merit even greater punishment than all other nations have suffered, and the indignation of Heaven" - John Adams - 1787.

Voting for Romney and others who pay lip service to their oaths for power's sake is just another betrayal of the trust our Founders left to us. This is why I make it a continuous point that we as a people have to do a 2 Chronicles 7:14 FIRST - because putting politics before God as a solution to what ails us is idolatry.

If that is doom and gloom to you - then I suggest the priorities are not in the right order. Our Founders certainly put God first, and the church went to work LONG before the fight for Independence to Awaken the people by repentance. The churches today have yet to do this.

And doing anything without God on our own power is a certainty for disaster. How is that for doom? Then again, we can read Lamentations and understand what real doom is.

“It is HILARIOUS how all the “conservative” Romney-backers now sound like they’re suffering from battered-wife syndrome, even right down to the specific language and word choice they use. “But I KNOW I can trust him THIS time!” It’s pathetic.”

Funny, but I didn’t read it that way at all; most don’t particularly care for or trust Mitt, but absolutely reject obama totally! Then there are the others...

"Your post defies logic!"

You 'misunderestimate' the contempt Christians hold for Mormons. ~grin~

Despite that, in no way does that mean any Christian is going to be voting for Obama. So no, it does not defy logic.

"I agree with that."

Thanks! There is much to agree on - we don't like any but Christian conservatives that revere our Constitution, given to us by Christian Founders! 8^)

(Yeah, that's maybe a bit off-topic - but, I'm thinking so much that Christianity will be the sole respite and salvation from what we face in this election!)

“”Not voting at all, or voting for a Ron Paul, or X on the ballot, IS in fact a vote FOR Obama.”
Not true. Simply RINO propaganda. These arrogant clowns think they own our votes and we should just shut up and do what they say.”

Given that you’re correct, what is your solution (other than whining, that is)?....

Crickets...

Pollywog, you're right as rain... 'Not voting at all, or voting for a Ron Paul, or X on the ballot, IS in fact a vote FOR Obama.'

I just don't know what will happen with many who just will not vote for Mitt under any circumstances. The question is, how many will - and how many won't. That is the bottom line.

Very astute.

We need to elect a 'super-majority' of conservative Republicans - working through the Tea Parties. The GOP 'elite' won't like that - but, hey they work for us, not the other 'way round.'

Kabar, I just don't see conservatives not being exceptionally effective in this coming election. I'm betting we take the Senate, and further control the House.

What happens in the presidential - I don't know, but, I'll hope and pray that Obama isn't going to be the winner.

"Everyday it’s another fire in the pan, more chaos, more deception, more class warfare crap, endless waste of our resources and slowly killing the heart of this country..."

Look up and pray - we WIN in the end... no matter how bad it looks now, we win. How much better could it get!?

Yes, I know, weeping does come naturally, and it is so very easy to become discouraged. But, we're there... the bad-guys don't win.

Yeah, that is JUST what Ronald Reagan did in 1976, when he lost the nomination to Ford. He quit the party.

Oh, wait....

"Actually it is the GOP’s race to lose if they" DO NOT "make the elections a referendum on Obama and his policies." Do the American people really want four more years of Obama? Are they still believers in hope and change or does the reality of massive debt, high unemployment, skyrocketing gas prices, socialist healthcare, etc. determine which way they will vote.

Undoubtedly you are quite correct. But, with the division that Romney brings, all bets are off, in my humble opinion. Maybe I'm wrong - or maybe I'm right... as there is a great deal of division among GOP voters.

You are quite correct - but, unfortunately there are many that would rather 'sit it out' than vote for Romney. Not a good thing... but, in their eyes, Romney will be as bad, or even worse than Obama.

Indeed, we first have to face reality before we can explore the options.

The reality is, most Americans are clueless, or possess a willful refusal to face what time it really is.

Cognitive dissonance always occurs when a people think it cannot happen here/ or to them and the reality of it is staring them in the face.

It's later than almost anyone is willing to admit.
