According to Al Quds, last Tuesday it was revealed that the Christian Orthodox Church in Tunis, one of very few churches in the country of Tunisia, is being “abused” and receiving “threatening messages” from “Salafis.” Church members are described as “living in a state of terror,” so much so that the Russian ambassador in Tunis specifically requested the nation’s Ministry of Interior to “protect the church.”
The abuse has gotten to the point where “Salafis covered the cross of the church with garbage bags, telling the church members that they do not wish to see the vision of the Cross anywhere in the Islamic state of Tunisia.”
Among all the Arabic-speaking nations, Tunisia has long been described as one of the most “secular” and “liberal”; it was also the first nation where the much ballyhooed “Arab Spring” began. Now its very few churches are not tolerated, and their crucifixes abhorred. If this is “tolerant” Tunisia, what should one expect from the more “radical” nations? More evidence of the true nature of the “Arab Spring.”

I took my family to Tunisia on R&R from Saudi Arabia some 30 years ago. People thought we were nuts going from one moslem country to another during ramadan. We were very pleasantly surprised. They may have been moslems but they seemed at the time to pretty tolerant. The vast majority of guests at our hotel were Europeans, mostly French and German. One Tunisian bartender confided in me that for ramadan, they usually don’t drink wine during the day. Apparently all of that openness has changed.

These swine in human form have no concept of freedom or democracy. They need a strong hand and a brutal regime to make them behave like civilized people.
So, did the Christians riot and call for the murder of the Salafis?
Try throwing garbage on a representation of Allah or on a Koran and see what happens...
Tolerance. There is none in Islam today. None. Think about it and the ramifications of that statement of fact. Here's the short version for you slow lib-lurkers out there: If you're not Muslim, or not even the right kind of Muslim, you are ultimately the enemy and must be converted or killed.
Not mere words on a computer screen, this is what they truly believe, want to have happen, and are working to make happen. Right now, today, as you read this somewhere there are people plotting your conversion or death. Maybe not you personally by name. But you as a non-Muslim westerner, yeah, they are coming for you. They are training and planning. They will attempt to execute their plans.
You went to a country where Western tourism was an important part of the economy, which does a lot to encourage "tolerance". Today, the Salifis will do all they can to make Tunisia unsafe for Western tourists.

True that. We bring all of our bad habits with us, thus tainting the purity of the locals. Shame on us!
Islam should be banned in the US, because it is not a religion in the usual sense, but a murderous political system masquerading as a religion and dedicated to the overthrow of our republican form of government.
