Can we put this thread on hold and criticize the hell out of her tomorrow?
My point is just this, Whitney contributed to this society though she obviously fell short as we all do.
I have many fond memories of her music as I came of age in the 80's.
The 80's for me was a decade of youth in my 20's, I did a lot of things that I am not proud of but at least had a Country with promise of the future...can't say that now.
Call me nostalgic, forgiving of a fellow human who perished under tragic circumstances...throw in the fact that it is Easter and well, my previous comment.
I am no better than she was, though she made more money than I did.
