An airport security worker was arrested after throwing a cup of hot coffee over a pilot who told her to stop swearing.
Transportation Security Administrator (TSA) Lateisha El, 30, was in the middle of a conversation with work colleagues at a JFK Airport terminal when she was interrupted by the American Airlines pilot.
Off-duty airman Steven Trivett, 54, was exiting terminal 8 when he overheard El swearing and asked her to tone down the profanity.
Trivett, of Butler, Tennessey, told them they should 'conduct themselves more professionally in uniform and not use profanity or the n-word,' according to the New York Post.
One TSA screener told Trivett to 'mind his own business' and swore at him.
Trivett then identified himself as a 'TSA officer' - an armed pilot - before trying to grab the ID tags of screener El to get her name.
But Port Authority police sources told the newspaper that El responded by hurling a 'full cup' cup of hot coffee over the pilot.
El, of Brooklyn’s East New York, was charged with harassment and misdemeanor-assault for the incident at 5am on March 28.

The TSA gal may not be one of them, BUT, “El” and “Bey” are commonly associated with adopted last names with those who show allegiance to the Moorish Science Temple, a known prison gang.

What it doesn’t say is whether Lateisha was fired after the incident. She was probably given a raise by the TSA.
Feisty isn’t the half of it. This is getting scary. I have a feeling this story will turn out to have the usual victim and the usual suspect:

Clearly the pilot's fault. It can't be a TSA agent's fault...

Agree, if I didn’t see articles like this on FR from the UK media, I’d never learn of them. News that does not fit the liberal, big government agenda seems to evaporate in the USA.

Undoubtedly, we have reason for a class action lawsuit,
based on the evidence used in the past to determine the existance of discrimination in hiring.
The TSA, and the government in general, has a huge overrepresentation of the AA demographic compared to their general population ratios, so, obviously, there is discrimination going on in hiring for government jobs.

It was tense traveling to NYC last weekend.
I accept New York’s melting pot atmosphere but it was a bit much even for a tolerant freedom-loving American. TSA was a snap.
Instead, I found myself staying at a hotel where the Pakistani Physicians’ Forum was being held. A swarthy taxi driver sang unintelligible chants as he drove me to the airport. The bar was 98% swarthy men. The atmosphere was calm at the boarding gate despite the very black dude ranting loudly into his cell phone about the volunteer “soldiers” better have street smarts, not book smarts, and that the “war” was imminent.
Any other insight into NYC lately?
We will need to be HARD conservatives to overcome those that plague America.

Butler, Tennessey, is in Johnson County, Tennessey, in the extreme NE corner of the state—so as close to New York as you can get in Tennessey. But not close enough, evidently.

Well I can see where El's Lawyer will take this one. The story sez the Pilot tried to Grab El's badge, THEN she(?) threw the coffee. So El's lawyer will claim self defense because the Pilot assaulted El.
You just know that is how it will go down... Which is why I say we need a culling of the lawyer heard held annually. We setup bait at a McDonalds: a large pot of Hot Coffee and we spill it on a disabled minority woman who is in the USA illegally. When the lawyers start circling the joint we trap 'em and ship 'em off to testing labs so they can be used in place of more likeable vermin like Rats and Cockroaches.
I like the thought and have said much the same thing but it’s 8:1. Still more than enough and I just bought two AR-15s and have a metric buttload of ammo coming in the mail so I will better be able to do my part.

The New York City Department of Education is waging a war on words of sorts, and is seeking to have words they deem upsetting removed from standardized tests.
Words that suggest wealth are excluded because they could make kids jealous. “Poverty” is also on the forbidden list. That’s something Sy Fliegal with the Center for Educational Innovation calls ridiculous
