Mediate ^ | March 23, 2012 | Alex Alvarez

Rick Santorum entered into a shouting match on Neil Cavuto‘s show Friday afternoon, yelling in apparent frustration at the Fox News host after he’d been asked about his recent comment that we “might as well” have another term for Barack Obama than take a risk on Mitt Romney in the White House.

In case you missed it, video is at the link. According to Santorum it depends on what the meaning of the word “we” is.

“Willard, what the hell is that child doing on the roof?”

Neil Cavuto is a class act. I tend to give weight to what he has to say.

“Everyone knows what Santorum meant”

Then he needs to say what he meant. Not create and issue that will become a Campaign add for Obamma in the GE.

The video.

Then he needs to say what he meant.

You got that right. It's unbelievable that the two leading GOP candidates are someone who reminds me of a typical Democrat (Romney) and someone who reminds me of a typical high school hall monitor (Santorum).

Way to be Presidential Ricky...get in a shouting match with with a financial show host. On national TV.

I heard what he said, and he's said it many times before. He's right - if given a choice between Obama and a facsimile people might just decide to stick with Obama.

Cavuto knows what Santorum was saying, too. He's playing the game, being purposely obtuse, and its too bad cause I've always liked him.

The same thing was done with every single candidate before Santorum - an unflattering narrative is manufactured and the candidate is confronted at every turn with it - forced to explain themselves - completely taking them off message.

Its a shame people keep falling for it.

We need a restart, a rebellion.

The conservatives need a party to speak for them.

Listen to Rush's interview with Greta.

He says Newt can win-the insiders may just want the senate
and they will say anything to conservatives to get votes, then ignore us..

I love Neil Cavuto, especially his “Common Sense” segment. I just watched the video clip and don’t see the “Hammering” mentioned in the headline. He asked Sen. Santorum and he got a earful in response. I happen to believe the senator. Romney will not bring a vast enough difference on the issues and the Media will, in fact, HAMMER republicans over the similarities between Romney and Obama and conservatism will lose another election while our country falls further off the edge.

Bingo! I always worried someone like Obama would take over America. Little did I know it would be the news media. But that's what's happened. They cherry pick what lines they want to exploit and attack from all sides.

I'll say this about any of the candidates, it's got to be impossible to not be frustrated when every word you say is either taken out of context or twisted then broadcast 24/7. I know they'd really have a field day with me and probably most normal people.

Here's Rick's pearl of wisdom with names in case anyone is confused:

"If you’re going to be a little different, we might as well stay with [Obama] instead of taking a risk with [Romney]" Santorum told a crowd at USAA.

It’s a shame Rick’s supporters treat him like the Media treats Obama: no objectivity, no candor.

“like the Media treats Obama”

When the GE comes the Media will make up for lost time on Santorum while Obammy will continue to get a free pass.

Then the whining will really start. They complain about us Pro Newt supporters now this is just the pre-season wait till the main event gets here.
