I don't suppose it would do any good to point out the irony in turning off your lights for a hour and firing up your computers for 3-4 hours just to brag about it.

There's hidden energy cost to everything - highly correlated with what a person makes - and how much they spend. Just because an elite liberal doesn't see the energy that goes into a gold chain, doesn't mean it's not happening. Same with printing a liberal magazine, publishing a newspaper, etc. Energy isn't just ‘light bulbs’...

That would be perceived and responded to as a personal attack, because of my above explanation. When you point out the fallacy of the things that sheeperals advocate and do to affirm their "good personhood", then you are attacking their "good personhood". It matters not what issue is involved.
