Yes I do remember that Noory had a segment about that. I do not agree that he was the first based upon my recollection, though. But yes he did let it on the air.
It was at the time that Corsi's Obama Nation was released and despite that one time that you mentioned Noory refused to let Corsi talk about the book unless there were people there to refute what Corsi said.
In fact I recall that Noory even refused to let Corsi talk about the scare he (Corsi) had while in Kenya trying to investigate the claims made that Obama was born in Kenya.
Except for the show a couple of months ago about NDAA there has been NO outright criticism of Obama -- though to be fair, Noory no longer gets upset when people make less than flattering comments about Obama.
In fact, Noory himself criticized Obama for helping write NDAA.
Professionally Noory is among the best I've heard since I started listening to radio 70+ years ago -- he's a fine man and patriot. IMO he's what we used to call a FDR Democrat -- sees most Republicans as "Daddy Warbucks."
As I recall Corsi promoted his Obama Nation on Hannity and I am sure Rush at least covered Corsi's criticisms of Obama.
Punnett as I recall was not sympathetic -- in fact I caught the ire of Punnett and was rounded denounced for a few minutes on air when I wrote critical remarks about his anti-Bush, pro-Obama opinions during Election 2008.
I posted them to Punnett's personal web page on his local station. In fact I recall that Punnett would let people mention the Ayers-Obama connection but would reject the idea -- but he finally exploded in anger once and shouted, "I am sick of hearing about Bill Ayers!"
