Ooh, new numbers from Jackson County, and Mitt not where he needs to be. Good!

I can’t believe Ricky is doing well in Alabama either.

I knew he would win Alabama as Governor Huckabee won in 2008, but what surprises me is that he is winning in Mississippi. I thought for sure Newt would win MS. Surprises all around. A great night for conservatives for sure. It looks like Romney will finish 3rd in both states.

“A nice shot of Grey Goose in my Sweet Tea sounds GOOD.”

What is Grey Goose? Gator has many geese and he names them - is Grey Goose one of those? And, you say “shot” - Gator would not let you shoot one of his geese. In fact, he took one on vacation with him (it was a duck and I have pictures.)

“Would your wife join in or complain we were going to die?”

It depends on her mood. LOL

You make it very tempting... it would be fun.

nbc calls Alabama for Santorum...

Calling it early is a media tactic to discourage other voters from going to polls to vote for Newt....and that comes directly from them saying so! They do this when the race gets too close for their candidate.

Don’t you just despise how Michael Steele engineered this whole mess .. purposely? Holygod .. whattamoron exemplar.

Excellent point. And what's up w/ these R superdelegates? Were there R superdelegates in 2008? I don't recall any. (I hate the idea of superdelegates.)

I believe Santorum sponsored the Partial Birth Abortion Amendment. O voted against it. That will be played out repeatedly if he wins the nomination.

No, it is an irish thing. Not dramatic just adamant that Newt is the last great hope for America in my lifetime. I believe in him.

Have read RS and Romney's records and could not take one for the team and vote for either one of them. I will do a write in ..and vote on issues that effect my state.

They must have a secret truck of Romney ballots in Mississippi. Drudge made the call for Mitt.

Must be keeping them in Romney's secret underwear.

Seriously, CNN has the vote count at 79% and it's been that way for the past 10-15 minutes. GOP-e furiously adding Myth ballots to the mix.

I was shocked that they had Mitt leading in Alabama just a few days ago. I never expected Mitt to win either Bama or Miss. They are both way too conservative, Alabama especially! Santorum and Newt have been campaigning hard in Bama the last few days.

Newt believes in man-made global warming.

That's false. Newt has said repeatedly that we do not have the technology to determine that question.

It may be that Newt drops out tomorrow

That's a not going to happen....he already said no matter what the outcome he's staying in....and the tactic media is using now to call it for SAntorum is to keep Newt voters from going to the polls...they did the same thing in Florida.....Newt's up against the media push for Romney and Santorum because they know Obama can beat them both.
