The body of Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden was not buried at sea, according to leaked emails of intelligence firm Stratfor, as revealed by WikiLeaks.
Stratfor’s vice-president for intelligence, Fred Burton, believes the body was “bound for Dover, [Delaware] on [a] CIA plane” and then “onward to the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Bethesda [Maryland],” an email says.
The official version is that the body of Al-Qaeda’s top man, who was killed by a US raid in Pakistan on May 2, 2011, was buried at an undisclosed location at sea in a proper Muslim ceremony.
"If body dumped at sea, which I doubt, the touch is very Adolph Eichman like. The Tribe did the same thing with the Nazi's ashes," Burton commented in another email. Eichman was one of the masterminds of the Holocaust by Nazi Germany. He was captured by Mossad agents in Argentina and, tried in Israel, found guilty and executed in 1962. His body was cremated and his ashes were scattered at sea over the Mediterranean.
"Eichmann was seen alive for many months on trial before being sentenced to death and executed. No one wanted a monument to him so they cremated him. But i dont know anyone who claimed he wasnt eicjhman [sic]. No comparison with suddenly burying him at sea without any chance to view him which i doubt happened [sic]," Stratfor CEO George Friedman replied.
"The US Govt needs to make body pics available like the MX's do, with OBL's pants pulled down, to shout down the lunatics like Alex Jones and Glenn Beck," Burton says in another message.
In another missive Burton says Osama’s body “is a crime scene and I don’t see the FBI nor DOJ letting that happen.”
WikiLeaks began publishing Stratfor emails in late February. The archive was obtained by the hacker group Anonymous, which successfully attacked one of the firm’s servers. More than 5 million emails were apparently stolen.
Stratfor is a US-based intelligence firm called the “shadow CIA” by some media. Among its clients are several US agencies and many big companies. The company relies on paid tips from informants placed in high circles of business, government and security all around the world.
But, but, but they have pictures and a video of him being dumped in the ocean. Yeah, the one we never saw.

That is the million dollar question. Every bit of information about what happened really rubs me the wrong way. Not that I don’t trust our Government to tell the truth... well, I really don’t trust them to tell the truth but you know what I mean.
Why wasn’t there a photograph of his dead body released? And the coincidental deaths of the members of Team 6 shortly after really raises my hackles.
IF that was even him we supposedly shot. IF he wasn’t already dead in a cave somewhere. IF the whole thing isn’t another grassy knoll.

I never believed it. I don’t even think it was OBL who was killed. I think the team of Seals who went down Afghanistan know what really happened. When you look at the recent uprising over the Koran, it kind of makes you wonder how they all took it in stride when their leader was killed.
bin laden will be used as an october surprise. He has been stuffed at a local taxidermy and will be on obama’s bus tour.

Seal Team 6 is a large number of people. There have been statements that those members later killed were not on the raid that purportedly killed Osama.
That doesn’t mean they don’t know what went down.
Whether he was buried at sea or not, that doesn’t explain why no photos were released. If Ubama has to tell us repeatedly that he got Usama, no one probably did.

So do I. Bin Laden was dead a few years ago. They probably had him on ice for 10 years. What are the odds that particular group of SEALS all get on a chopper and crash together?
There was an obviously fake pic of his dead body that some idiot made, that was spread around.
He's rumored to be appearing on MSNBC later today to praise the Obama Administration for their efforts in promoting diversity and religious tolerance.
I have it from a reliable source close to the White House that Osama’s body was liquified, and sold to a printing company, and used in the manufacturing process for paper used in printing Korans for the Mideast. Does anyone have any further information to support this claim?
Either the govt is lying, or Stratfor doesn’t know what they are talking about. BOTH could be true.
I always figured that they pulled in Osama to work on Obama’s campaign.
If you read the entire email from Stratfor, it is all conjecture. The writer of the email doesn’t claim to have any evidence of his opinion.

Remember some ex-leader in Iraq who had many “extras” that would fill in for him when needed? Perhaps our Gov. may have screwed up and shot the wrong Osama bin Laden and are trying to cover it up (Like soooo many other things).
We will never know for sure, no matter what they tell us.

You may indeed be correct, and what’s offered here is nothing more than the purported musings of Fred Burton and Stratfor. I smell bait for another “Fluke” job.

If radical Muslims are going nuts over the burning of a Koran and killing US soldiers as a result, won’t the “desecration” of OBLs body stir up a firestorm? Didn’t we go to great lengths to describe how OBL was given a proper Muslim funeral so as to placate Muslims and show them how sensitive we were to their religion? Why I’m sure the 9-11 hijackers passed out bibles and rosaries to passengers and led the singing of Kubaya before slamming the planes into the Trade Center, Pentagon and a Pennsylvania field.
This appears to be utter conjecture, attributed to a single Stratfor principal, without any evident basis in fact. It raises more questions about the intentionality of those who disseminated such unsourced speculation than anything else.
