(Reuters) - Coroners conducted an autopsy on the body of conservative activist Andrew Breitbart on Friday but deferred a formal finding on the cause of his death until toxicology and lab tests are completed, officials said.
Los Angeles County Coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey said toxicology and microscopic tissue studies were ordered because of Breitbart's death at the relatively young age of 43.
They will take four to six weeks to complete, he said.
"It's standard procedure," Harvey said. "We have a very young man who died suddenly and unexpectedly, so we want to make sure we cover all the bases."

Well we will see.. it’s hard not to have thoughts of conspiracy on this one. Especially since his fatherinlaw said he didn’t have a heart condition.
Look for an extremely small red dot. It’s easy to miss, but that’s how they do it.
Thanks ColdOne.
I never got to meet Andrew but losing him was like losing a brother. I hope and pray someone will keep his mission going.
There was an autopsy done on Marilyn, too. She supposedly swallowed a bunch of Nembutals yet there were no yellow stains on the wall of her stomach, and there would have to be if she died ingesting them. There street name was yellowjackets.
But Naguchi said the death was probable suicide.
Well they have plastered it on the news that he did have
heart problems. One can always trust the news what would the parents know anyway.
The only person I’d trust to investigate this is Joe Arpaio
I am the furthest person from being a conspiracy theory nutter, but even I have suspicions of murder or foul play.
The left in this country has no shame and it wouldn’t surprise me if some left-wing thug or entity conspired to kill him.
We probably won't know much more for weeks, if even then. Wonder how much political pressure is being applied at the coroner's office. This is a Democrat-controlled jurisdiction, after all.
Did Dr. Fannie Mallek perform the autopsy?
If Obama and the Chicago Mob ordered him killed, there is zero chance that this autopsy will find anything, I’m afraid.
The Los Angeles Coroner is going to find anything that might embarrass Obama? I don’t think so. No more than the Arkansas coronor found anything suspicious about two Arkancides, one a guy who was shot twice in the back, the other a guy whose head was cut off. Both were certified as suicides.
The LA ME sent the fluid and tissue samples to the prestigious and trustworthy FBI lab in Washington where testing will be done by chief toxicologist Dr. Numbutu Ongotoguy, Magna cum shaman graduate of the world famous Kenya Kollege of Kosmotology.

His potential impact was unlimited. Few like him are created.
I believe under the circumsatnces if he was not under a doctors care for a condition likely to cause death an autopsy is called for.
I’m there with you.
I had a brother, who has always reminded me so much of Breitbart, who died with a heart attack in an instant (age 44). He, like AB, had four little kids. He was playing with his three little girls when he keeled over. They thought he was horsing around, as was his nature.
Anyway, part of my sadness now is reliving that horrid time 5 years ago. They did an autopsy on my brother and they knew right away it was his heart.
So, they probably know if it was or was not the heart at this point... just checking for other stuff.
all i've been hearing is that he had a heart condition. do you have a link with the father-in-law saying this?
if it's truly the case that he didn't have a condition... then the odds of it NOT being an assassination dropped to near 0
Could be just like when it was plastered on the news in 1993 that Vince Foster was "depressed." With the MSM as it is today, we have to do our own investigating and thinking.
Yes, indeed and now I’m getting suspicious and worried.
His last stop before going home was “The Brentwood” where he talked to a man, (I forget his name) at the bar for about 2 hours.
The thing with leftist societies after the tipping point is passed (e.g., California) is that nobody has to pressure anybody.
What are the chances that the LA coroner is a believer in The Revolution?
Pretty damn good. And what are the chances that if he finds evidence of foul play that he will tell the DA, who is almost certainly a true believer?
Near zero.
Oh dearest you. You’re reliving your borther’s sudden death. God bless you.
Andrew was so full of life and it sure seems possible he could just keel over without having known he had heart problems. He sure worked hard and loved to work because he loved his work and that in itself is a blessing!!!
So you think they’re just being extra super careful in determining the exact causation(s)?
It’s very simple. He either had blocked arteries or he did not.
Shirley is probably not out of trouble on this one either.
Then there's O'Keefe's suit against Obermann and Al Gore (and others).
Those people are ALL suspects in this one.
One of my Facebook "friends", a classmate from high school, was bashing Joe yesterday, so I de-friended the idiot today. I don't need any libtard friends.
Ha, well some of mine will most likely be deleting me also.. I posted Levins article telling the media to go to h*ll in response to daily kos petition that was posted. Its a shame but this is what zero has done...split the country in half.
Freepers need to get together on the Free Republic FB.
I hear you, but I’m thankful for their honesty. I don’t want a bunch of lib friends, and I doubt if they want me on their list either. Might as well sort this crap out right now, and stand on our principles. Like you, I know exactly where I stand, and with NO apologies.
The most likely cause of a sudden cardiac arrest, especially in a younger person, is not blocked arteries but an arrhythmia, an electrical disturbance in the heart muscle.
You don't even have to go that far. What are the chances he gets a bit of advice that it is better this way and to keep his mouth shut? He's already got a dead guy laying on his table --that's all the persuasion most would need.
Well, a 100% blocked right coronary artery caused mine at the age of 39.
This thread made me think of “The Parallax View” where Warren Beatty gives info to his editor Hume Cronyn who has his lunch delivered by a different guy ... then passes away from an apparent “heart attack”.
My point was, in today's California, there is little chance that someone who could be appointed to the job of LA County Coroner would need any persuasion.
Im sure glad youre still here. : )
But what Im talking about is sudden cardiac arrest and death in a younger person with no prior symptoms or diagnosis of heart trouble. This is tragically the case sometimes seen in young athletes or younger athletic types, usually male. They are fine one minute and the next, they are dead.
Sudden cardiac arrest is different from a heart attack, which occurs when blood flow to a portion of the heart is blocked. However, a heart attack can sometimes trigger an electrical disturbance that leads to sudden cardiac arrest.
In other words sometimes a sudden cardiac arrest is caused by a heart attack which is caused by a blockage but not all sudden cardiac arrests are caused by a heart attack or the blockage that causes the heart attack. People can and do die from sudden cardiac arrest without any blockages.
“Naguchi explained that there was no residue in her stomach because it was not uncommon for someone to be able to digest a substance more quickly than normal if that person frequently ingested it. Monroe took a lot of pills over the years.”
But yellow die does not digest, it’s absorbed through the stomach lining and that takes time.
The original report on Reuters (which can be seen at http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?hl=en&gbv=2&num=10&lr=&ft=i&cr=&safe=images&tbs=qdr%3Ay&q=cache:xayYWVqBdYUJ:http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/03/01/us-usa-politics-breitbart-idUSTRE8201AV20120301+Orson+Bean+heart+problems+site%3Areuters.com&ct=clnk ) had his father-in-law saying he knew nothing of any coronary problems and had the coroner’s office saying that he had medical issues and hadn’t seen a doctor for over a year. Not sure how they knew that since they said they didn’t have his medical history yet.
It’s a big jumbled-up mess of conflicting claims.
Well, I do know you’re roght about that, because I have experienced arythmia (sp?) at least a few time since my heart attack.
It’s a very odd feeling that can’t be missed, kind of like a clock ticking at the exact wrong time, it seems to correct itself, thank God, otherwise I’d be back at the hospital.
And yeah I am definitely glad I’m still here...all except for the bills I mean!
Cute. Almost missed it...
And that would show up clearly in an autopsy — along with the associated, localized infarct. Massive infarct without specific arterial blockage would be indicative of an external (pharma) attack.

Dont worry about the bills, they can eventually be paid. But if you are getting that odd feeling such as you described, you really need to see your cardiologist ASAP! Arrhythmia can be dangerous and life threatening especially for someone who has suffered a previous heart attack. Do me and yourself a favor and call your cardiologist first thing Monday morning and make an appointment. Please!
It’s been quite some time since I experienced that, I’d say at least one year. I did tell him of this during a previous visit at which point he put me on carvaedilol twice per day. Also, I just completed a stress test on the treadmill 1.5 weeks ago, cardiologist read the results and said they were perfect, no anomalies.
Since my heart attack I have become a runner and a weightlifter, so I have completely turned my physical shape around. I still worry about the situation, no doubt, bc it runs in my family, my dad died of his second heart attack @ 64. I started on this track quite a bit earlier than he did. Personally, I blame new orleans food! but I look at it this way, when the Good Lord calls me home, I will have to go. Until then, I thank him for everyday, especially those past year #39.
Curious, when you said you had a treadmill stress test, was this a nuclear stress test or just a conventional stress test?
About five years ago, as part of a routine physical I got a routine echocardiogram, given my age and family history and my doc didnt like what he saw (thought it showed some heart muscle damage) and so he ordered a nuclear stress test.
It turned out fine and I passed with flying colors but Im glad I had it and am due to have another this year. A nuclear stress test can detect heart muscle damage that a traditional treadmill test wont necessarily detect. If youve not had one, I would suggest asking your cardiologist if you should. Given that you had a heart attack and have had some arrhythmia and your family history, I would think it would be routine.
It was just the standard. I’ve undergone three since the attack. The second was ordered to be nuclear, however it would have cost 6k, so I declined and just opted for physical. Sadly, I am self pay at this time.
there are so many “unknowns” in this death. If I was an honest ME, I would investigate is as if it was a murder, regardless of any obvious findings otherwise. He is too prominent and controversial to just chalk it up to “natural causes.” He stopped breathing during a walk. That’s a natural cause. But what caused THAT??
