Ron Paul as Michigan Spoiler
WOKV ^ | 2/26/12 | Jamie Dupree

If you believe the polls in Michigan, Ron Paul has no chance in the primary here in the Wolverine State on Tuesday. But that hasn't stopped the Texas Congressman from spending three days here before Tuesday's primary.

But when you dig down into Paul's message, you don't hear much about the home-state favorite, Mitt Romney.

Instead, Paul is taking dead aim at Rick Santorum, in a sense giving Romney some help in what has become a must-win state for the man whose father was once Governor here.

Does anyone still doubt that Paul and Romney are in cahoots?

mitt is a liberal, paul is a far left liberal. It makes sense that they would stick together.

Paul is a savvy politician. He must have some kind of a deal. Still, for him (and apparently his son) to line up with Romney is very disappointing. I would have thought that their positions would be more in line with Gingrich.

But MI people are not stupid, and they see this. One guy, from MI, on Bill Cunningham radio show last night realized this. AND, the fact that Rick’s ads promote his plans for America while Romney ads are slimey, attack ads. He says all of this will backfire on RINO-Rom this Tues. LET US PRAY!!!

I’m not sure what kind of effect it might have but we’re expecting an ice storm tuesday night. Just guessing but hopefully it will help suppress the older George Romney vote.

I’ll bet Ron Paul has already been promised either Chairman of the Fed or Treasury Secretary in a (gag-choke-puke) Romney Administration.

Doctors are very liberal. My doctors are very liberal. One is concerned I lost weight and the other tells me I can drink and smoke as much as I like.

I should be the doctor.

It seems like Paul wants Romney to be the nominee.

And yet the Paulbots can’t bring themselves to admit that a vote for Paul is a vote for Romney.

I watched one of his Michigan events on CSPAN. It's always interesting to see what happens after a candidate finishes speaking. In this event, Paul immediately left with no interaction with the people at the event. Usually candidates linger, shake hands, have pictures taken, etc. Maybe it was a one-off, but it seems like Paul could care less about these people that come out. He knows his whole campaign is a scam. He's on a mission, and it has nothing to do with the dupes that turn out to see him.

They both are secular based liberals, of course they hate the Judeo/Christian based real conservatism. It is so obvious.

Romney may believe Paul would draw votes from Santorum. IMO Paul would be drawing votes from Romney. At the most it will be a three way tie here in Michigan.
