Something interesting is that the man/boy sex among Arabs used to be common knowledge in the 1940s,1950s, and 1960s, and well before.
Western men who had known the Arab culture and wrote about it in their tales of military experiences and other adventures, and exotic travel memoirs, often mentioned it.
I have also read that Arabs had schools where, from childhood, girls were trained in pleasuring a man, and of course Harem stories were common.
That’s a good point funnily enough I remember reading a thread with a fair number of freepers supporting single sex schools. It was bad enough back then and considering how much society has shifted since it souls be much worse. That’s the problem with cultures and insititions with extreme sexual segregation. You see all kinds of perversions crop up. Combine it with a repressive attitude toward sex or mixed gender interactions and you’ve got one hell of a mess.

It is just basic biology.
It is hard for a teenage boy developing sexual desires to imprint upon females as the intended recipient of those desires - if there are no women around.
Humans are not very sexually dimorphic. Men are larger than women - but there is a huge overlap in sizes. Facial hair/stubble and breasts help, but some men don’t have much facial hair and some women don’t have much breasts.
Humans as a species already have enough “Pats” to muddle the issue.
The last thing we need is to segregate the sexes in a draconian fashion.
I’ll admit I don’t have have a degree in biology or sociology but I think a lot of the violence you see in the Muslim world is based on deep seated sexual frustration. Males in Muslim countries can’t interact with women in a casual manner and I would think that in the harem based circumstances that exist in many traditional Muslim societies older and established males get most of the younger and healthy females leaving young men out in the cold biologically which has them turn to violence and extremist ideology and probably encourages a fair amount of situational homosexuality based on dominance and frustration much like you see in prison populations.
Compounded with a faith which relishes in repression and violence you have people who’s only outlet is savagery and destruction you have what we have now. A young, impoverished, and extremely large population bent on mass murder.

You must understand that under Islam its not “immoral homosexuality” if there is no lve involved. The Ayatollah even published a book detailing how to rape an infant or an animal the Islamic way.
