Members of Occupy UConn will confront U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman on Thursday during his visit to campus about his commitment to increase debt, expand foreign wars and government surveillance of American citizens.
Members said they want answers regarding Lieberman's willingness to send University of Connecticut students to die on the front lines to defend democratic freedoms, while sat the same time working to deny those same freedoms to American citizens.
Lieberman was invited to the campus to discuss the Cybersecurity Act, a bill before Congress that he co-sponsored with three colleagues.
Members of Occupy UConn were expected to confront Lieberman around 10 a.m.
They realize we don't have a draft, right?

My last encounter with Lieberman’s staff was sometime around Fukushima. He had made some comment about how dangerous Millstone was. A few days a few days later IIRC, he made some statement about how we need to build more/service more subs at Electric Boat in Groton.
I simply wanted to know how he could support submarines but be against Millstone. His staff denied the subs were nuclear powered.
I got tired of Lieberman several years ago and have considered him a “finger in the wind” opportunist ever since.
Hope Joe has an extra airwick or two handy. Hippies smell.

Occupy folks are all heavy drug users. They have no idea who they’re even talking about.
The draft is irrelevant to the question. Every soldier swears and oath to the constituition of the US and Leiberman and is frumpy pals have expanded the meaning of “terrorist” from Muslim radicals to American run of the mill criminals, preppers, political activists and Christians they elite don’t like.
They are creating an American KGB in the name of domestic terrorism. They are systematically molesting and humiliating Americans at the airport who are not Muslims and have nothing to do with radical Islam. Leiberman has led a treasonous and disgusting abuse of power and trust. McTraitor and his girlfriend, the duo who loves the Muslim Brotherhood, has helped Homeland Security overturn the US constitution’s Bill of Rights.
No soldier signed up to help Leiberman overturn the US constitution in the name of perfumed princes fearing and hating Americans.
Another name I would add to that list is Jeb Bush.
