It's a non-starter; most Conservatives I know would like to see the debt, and entitlements reduced...if we were to "take away birth control", then more illegal babies would be born, necessitating more welfare, childcare, and other government subsidies.

As a conservative, I'd like to see MORE birth control going on, not less.

No one was talking about curtailing BC (or are now for that matter) until George Snufalupogous, a reliable agent of the left, forced it into the Republican candidate debate to the bewilderment of all concerned. So far as I know, NONE of the candidates has clearly stated that they would defund PBS/NPR. Not even Ron Paul.

The candidate who says that, and clearly explains WHY, has thrown down the gauntlet and has earned my vote. Although a miniscule portion of the Federal budget, it's appalling that we are forced to support this liberal propaganda.

Let them learn to support themselves.

If their is a right to privacy, how is the income tax legal? What could be more private than how a person makes a living and what he decides to purchase with that money?
