Excellent suggestion. You should sign on as an advisor to the candidates. Sometimes silence says more than words can ever say. You are right. They fell into the trap and are now doing damage control. And not very successfully.

I agree. It has only just begun. We need to gird our loins for battle. We are all in this together though and we shall prevail!

I have never before seen an issue so completely fabricated out of nothing by the American news media, in clear collusion with a sitting Administration.

Sensing the opposition and power of organized traditional faiths to the ObamaCare mandates, the White House political directorate hatched a scheme.

And virtually everything here appears to have been planned: how the issue would be introduced and narrated, how its borders would be framed (the template of "contraceptive rights" as opposed to "religious freedom"), what language would be employed and repeated, and which words should be avoided, how to answer and characterize the opposition...

Absolutely chilling.

Not the first one either. They seem to walk into every trap Obama lays. I sometimes try to call them to give them advice (out of frustration) but they seem to love losing.

To congressional Republicans: How to reverse your Social Security ‘payroll Tax Cut’ train wreck, (December 24, 2011 | sickoflibs)

If you look at these ‘interviews’ and debates as more like war and less like a friendly chat with uncle Dave then disarming moderators got-ya lose-lose questions makes perfect sense. Heck, watch Republicans cluelessly go on those MSNBC shows and get nuked,.

Please keep calling. Also, I think Morning Joe is the exception to the MSNBC shows to which you are referring. They always get fair questions and representation on Joe’s show I think. He has excellent guests from both sides.

You analysis of the Griswold/Roe line of cases is correct, as is your analysis of the democrat strategy to make the Republican candidates look bad.

There are two other ingredients to this mess:

1. The whole contraception issue is a “red herring” deliberately designed to deflect the public’s attention from the real issues in this campaign, specifically the regime’s destruction of our prosperity through reckless fiscal policy, a horrible energy policy, the emasculation of our military, and finally their attempts to cement their political power in perpetuity by transfer of wealth from the few productive areas left in our economy to the democrats’ traditional unproductive voting blocs, and;

2. That this whole charade would have been ludicrous from the get-go but for the of the regime’s complete control over their propaganda organs in the media, and the media’s complicity in the scheme.

This is a mock election campaign. Enough dumbed-down brain-dead voters have been herded into the collective farms already, and will play their part by voting as they are told, all according to the script. Thanks to our blatantly communist, media, academia and bureaucracy, we have become a Potemkin Village of a Republic.

The Morning Joe is a pretty liberal show but they treat all their guests with respect and are polite to them.

A Republican on Hardball either has to be a liberal sellout or he will get nuked with scores of got-ya questions. same with Lawence O Donnell, I posted his interview with Herman Cain here last summer. What a jerk!

The game is real simple, Ask questions intended to alienate ether the target's base supporters from him/her with one answer, or alienate general voters with the other. I call it “Split the base from the general voters”, also lose-lose.

I have come to the conclusion that GOP candidates simply need to stop talking to these A-holes and go directly to the people.

I simply cannot watch O’Donnell. He makes no effort to be fair or even respectful to those with which he does not agree. I have been married to a yellow dog dem for over 45 years and have not killed him yet. And we treat each other with respect always. But Joe I think is always fair and treats all of his guests with respects. I will miss Pat Buchanan. Barnicle always used the word irascible to describe Buchanan. And he used it with great affection. Buchanan will be missed by many.

Also, I cannot leave it unsaid,I am sure this is indicative of how shallow I am, but Mika gets on my last nerve. The only word that comes to mind anytime she is on camera is “vapid”....Vapid. That is it. She adds nothing to any conversation. Silly, empty headed woman. There. I feel better. Thank you for listening.

I watch that show each morning. Dumb Mika comes across as very clueless. Notice they play up the female attractiveness card to try to sell her in those pictures and short videos. FNC doesnt have to do that for Megyn Kelly, she is both hot and smart and informed. Mika could never handle a real show by herself.

Dumb Mika reads the news and chirps like a bird when she laughs, as well as making other funny noises. Then there's the funny looks she makes when others are talking moving her head and eyes rolling looking confused, which she must be being so stupid.

Still, it's entertaining. Wonder who bought her book, someone dumber than her.

And We the People get to pay for this crap. Defund PBS Now!!

Break it off in PBS bump. Erbe is a good example of the demographic that the Pew Survey says is the most hardcore liberal and prog in the country: educated women.

I think they've spent too much time reading and studying feminazi garbage, hating on men, and "building consciousness" with like-minded, non-reproductive losers. A lot of them are spinsters for life, and they are the main reason marriage is declining like a Latin teacher for the last 40 years.

They're victims of the long-march Communists' takeover of higher education and its manufacture of Alinskyite, socially-divisive gender and ethnic "studies" (black propaganda and agitation, led by KGB Active Measures).

Be careful about using the broad term 'education' as if its evil. Her degrees are in journalism an obviously liberal/socialist program.

I picked up on this show when Clinton was POTUS and Bonnie was much younger. I still DVR it each Sunday looking for gems like this. They typically lure on one weak Republican woman on and all gang up on her. Linda Chavis didn't do bad on this show considering what she was up against, being a lawyer she was able to cite the SCOTUS decision Griswold..but soon was overwhelmed by attacks from three sides.

Erbe started off the last two shows with this ‘Taking away your birth control’ theme. In this one she looks downright evil lying to the camera while looking down and around very shifty like.

Agree completely. The contraception issue is definitely manufactured to distract campaigns and deflect attention. They are just trying to scare young folks into voting liberal.

I heard somebody on the radio the other day claiming that under a Santorum or Gingrich administration, they would try and stop you from going into a store and buying condoms. It's ridiculous the lies they cook up to try and scare the gullible. We should have saw this coming back in January when Stephie grilled Romney over this. Stephie came out with a couple of reasons about why he asked it, but in hindsight he's covering his butt - the Obama administration and the MSM were looking to cook up a fake issue that would be very divisive and very distracting, and they've succeeded.

It pisses me of off - they will probably succeed in convincing many younger voters that we mean old Republicans want to ban all contraception.

“It pisses me of off - they will probably succeed in convincing many younger voters that we mean old Republicans want to ban all contraception.”

It’s another long-standing play from the democrat playbook; scare voters with lies. It worked against Goldwater in 1964. They tried it against Reagan in 1980 when I was in college. The number of fellow college students who bought the lie that Reagan would draft them and send them off to war was staggering.

We already had dingy harry reid talking about mean old Republicans wanting to poison the air and water. They will always resort to the usual lies about Republicans wanting grandma to survive on cat food.

But the real whopper to come is that Republicans want to steal babies, which of course is pure projection.

LOL..I had not thought of that. The IQ of anyone who would buy a book by Mika. Only because I really like Joe, Willie and Barnicle..and before this...Buchanan..and they have such good guests, do I watch. As a woman, I am embarrassed by the silliness of a grown woman acting like Mika.

The reason I watch that show much more than Fox and Friends is not because I agree with even Joe, it is because they do political analysis which I am looking for. F+F does too many cutesy human interest stories that I dont care about.
My favorite FNC show is Cavuto Your World.
