Romney Finding Support Where Women Hold Sway
Wall Street Journal ^ | 7 Feb 2012 | Neil King Jr

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.—Local Republican activists Debbie Brown and Lynne Cottrell share a similar story. After backing other Republican presidential candidates over the past several months, they have now swung over to Mitt Romney.

Their rationale, on the eve of the Colorado caucuses, may bode well for the former Massachusetts governor, not just now, but also if he faces off in a general election against President Barack Obama.

It boils down to this: Mr. Romney's mildness, seen as a demerit by many conservatives, is a plus for him in swing areas such as voter-rich Arapahoe County, a bellwether for this key electoral state and a place where women dominate the electoral rolls.

"I have come to see him as disciplined and competent. And unlike many of the others, he doesn't carry any baggage," said Ms. Brown, a Republican campaign strategist who works from her home in the suburbs of Denver and once backed Herman Cain, among others.

But these lies about Willard and the women who allegedly love him were already posted to the sneers and derision of people of good will everywhere.

Maybe the women in Colorado feel that way, but the real women I know in the South, just think Romney is like the creepy snake oil salesman their grandparents used to tell them about.

Romney just had a big fund raiser in Cherry Hills Village in the Denver area. Talk about Country Club Republicans. Karl Rove loves places like Cherry Hills Village.

Google it.

These women should have to take an I.Q. test before being allowed to vote...just a few questions.....1 how many branches of government are there? What branch makes laws? What branch is suppose to interpret law as it is written and against what other document? Who is in charge of the executive branch.Miss one, you cannot vote...until next year when you learn the answers to these questions...

>>”Mr. Romney’s mildness, seen as a demerit by many conservatives...”<<

Three cheers for the “real women” in the south and for Shadowstrike!!

We don’t need “mildness”, we need kick-ass get in your face John Wayne-Chuck Norris ‘toughness’ to save America.

Women have got to stop looking at Mitt as a potential lover or what they wish their husbands looked like. It ain’t the Prom, ladies, it’s for the future of our country.

—Evidence?—

Do you know where women fit into the “pecking order” according to Mormon teaching? Look it up. It will explain everything.

I remember, back in 1985, a friend and I were studying Mormonism and we got to the teaching on mormonism and marriage. She suddenly said, “My mormon neighbors got a divorce a couple years ago. Now I know why she killed herself.”

Mildness.........gag me.
He reminds me of the kind of guy who would put a rofie in your drink.
He is not mild, he is weak, there is zero “manliness” about him.

Evidence?
How about women can not get into the lds celestial kingdom with first being called by their husbands.
Which means, that the husbands are in total control because at any moment if she doesn’t tow the line he can threaten her with not calling her name. Essentially saying “you are unworthy”, signal for tough luck babe.
If the woman makes it to the celestial kingdom, they are pregnant for eternity, spitting out spirits to worship the husband.
Woman are subservient to men.
Their job is to stay home have babies, serve the husband and his commands, and they better be happy about it.
Even if they work, they must continue with the babies and total subservience to the husband.
The fear of being called “unworthy is great”, which probably accounts for the large number of lds women who have depression.

Not really, but my impression is that they are encouraged to have children and to have careers, mainly, but not always, in that order.
