Donald Trump endorsed Mitt Romney for president Thursday, saying he's impressed by the Republican candidate's debate prowess and believes he could easily beat President Obama in November.

"Mitt is tough. He's smart. He's sharp. He's not going to allow bad things to continue to happen to this country that we all love," Trump said in Las Vegas, telling the candidate to "go out and get 'em."

The real estate mogul, speaking briefly with reporters before the announcement, said that even though he "never knew" Romney before the race began, he's come to know him in recent months.

"His general attitude and the last two debates were very impressive," Trump said.

He also cited Romney's position on China, calling the former Massachusetts governor

Combover boy’s endorsing Newt would be one thing that could cause me to switch to Santorum instead. Fortunately his endorsing Mitt causes no conflict for me whatever.

A big mouth, self-promoting ahole with a hair fetish...looks like a freak, but only Trumpetmouth knows what looks best.

He's only out to do what MAY be good for Trump. We will see.

well both are business men
both are liberals and for the homosexual agenda,
both make shit loads of money and have no concept how we manage to get by with even food shopping.
Both go tot heir elitist Manhattan cocktail parties.

Yep no surprise there, the Trumps are all lining up for their pay offs and kickbacks in business.

That is hilarious! I hope the GOP wakes up before it’s too late and nominates somebody else!

Please, Trump was never a Rockefeller Republican, or any other kind of Republican. He probably isn’t even a Democrat. His political beliefs are whatever suits him on a particular day. He endorse Obama in 2008.

Trump has laid his cards on the table. He’s a RINO. At least there is no more guesswork to what the Trump really is now. We know he’s a sellout to conservatism and a shyster. We’ve always known it but now it is readily apparent.

It rubs the lotion on its skin. It does this whenever it's told. It puts the lotion
on its skin, or else it gets the hose again. Now it places the lotion in the basket.

I heard the beginning, Trump endorsed and turned it over to Romney. To Trump’s credit he did not grandstand, at least at the start.

In hindsight this isn’t surprising bc Romney emphasizes making China play by the rules and that is Trump’s main theme.

He is not a RINO. He was registered as a Democrat a few years ago, and he isn’t registered as a Republican now. Not a RINO.

Folks, you don't know how much Trump's endorsement helps Newt. It's like a gift from heaven.

Newt is a conservative populist.....he will play off the two "rich, out-of-touch guys" like a Stradivarius.

They become the 1% and he becomes the 99%. I like those odds.

Watch the Newtster go to town on Romney/Trump/Millionaires/Eastern/Elite/Establishment/Casino/Bad Hair.

Remember, my encouraging words and the skies are not cloudy all day!
