Donald Trump endorsed Mitt Romney for president Thursday, saying he's impressed by the Republican candidate's debate prowess and believes he could easily beat President Obama in November.

"Mitt is tough. He's smart. He's sharp. He's not going to allow bad things to continue to happen to this country that we all love," Trump said in Las Vegas, telling the candidate to "go out and get 'em."

The real estate mogul, speaking briefly with reporters before the announcement, said that even though he "never knew" Romney before the race began, he's come to know him in recent months.

"His general attitude and the last two debates were very impressive," Trump said.

He also cited Romney's position on China, calling the former Massachusetts governor

Not surprising this would happen, coming from our country’s number one professional bulls****er.

I have no problem posting again what I stated...but your point is? ...and Next time you fix my posts to yours do me the courtesy of asking first.

Hey I’d rather have him for Newt than running as he said he would....I have to say “endorsements” are certainly telling which side of right and wrong folks are on.

Trumps..(and Trumpett’s like Bondi) are all lining up for their pay offs and kickbacks in business...(and government positions).

There’s so much bartering going on and will be increasing as this year moves along....I bet behind the scenes it looks like a flipping hurricane of activity we’ll never see.

"This looks even worse for Romney than it would have for Newt if he was the one blessed by Trump. Romney wouldnt even join a debate moderated by Trump, yet Trump picks him. ."

Faux said 27% said Trumps endorsement would make them less likely to vote for that person. It amazes me the Greta gives the blowhard so much airtime.

Back in the day when Zipper-Boy Clinton was IMPEACHED, “The Donald” said: “I think Clinton is tremendous.”

The Donald may even be a registered Democrat.

BTW, what IS the difference between a RINO and a Democrat? Enquiring minds want to know.

See I can’t stand Trump. Never could and knew he was a fraud.

I'm with you naps. The guy is a kook regardless who he endorses.

So does this mean Trump won't run 3rd party?

Nope. Not at all.

It is the first step in Trump's acceptance of a third party nomination. He will get some air time by teasing the media about his futire, say his television program is taking a hiatus, and then announce his third party run with "You're Fired" directed at Oromnay.

The birthers are given the runaround rather easily. First by that nutjob Orly Taitz and then by Trump.

I think the winner in all this is Obama’s team, they must love how we’re being whipsawed.

What is your point?

Should we just roll over and accept a lying, decietful liberal, AKA Mitt Romney, as our "inevitable" nominee?

The same POTUS candidate who:

1. Supports the Individual Mandate?
2. Implements and supports his RomneyCare with its $50 abortions?
3. Refuses to re-instate DADT?
4. Believes in the Global Warming scam?
5. As Governor, nominated extreme left-wing judges?
6. As Governor, pushed Gay-Marriage?

So what would you have us do?

Sit meekly by and just let the lying propaganda from Mitt's money machine go unanswered?

It’s gotten so ridiculous and so childish. Anyone who wanted to run for President on the Republican ticket was free to jump into the race. The people voted. Some candidates won states, some didn’t. Those who did badly dropped out. Going forward to the rest of the states, it is the voters who will determine the outcome. Unfortunately, we freepers don’t have control over the entire Republican electorate.

I’m not going anywhere, pal. If you find my posts so “sanctimonious” because I’m simply pointing out the fickleness of Trump supporters, you can choose to not read them or take yourself elsewhere.

That’s exactly what I think, and the Romney vermin have proven that they are not above engaging in this kind of douchebaggery.

get over yourself. My post wasn’t about you. It’s about the hourly media cycle that’s killing Obama’s competition.

Get a hold of yourself. My post doesn’t have anything to do about the merits of the candidates or about your particular post.

It’s about the hourly media cycle being played like a fiddle either by Obama’s fawning media, or by our people to the benefit of Obama and his fawning creeps.

What would I have us do? Keep our frikking powder dry, and quit shooting each other in the head minute by minute.

That is hilarious! I hope the GOP wakes up before it’s too late and nominates somebody else!

No, I wasn't whipsawed. I stand by what I said. I would vote for Trump over Romney. Romney ranks right down there with Pelosi, Reid, and Obama in my book. Saying I would vote for Trump over Romney is an expression of just how much I despise Romney. And I stand by what I said, that video showing Trump bashing Romney and then the narrator saying he endorsed him because they both like to fire people is hilarious! And I do hope the GOP wakes up and picks a candidate who will not be so easily bashed by the Rats and the media!

YOu’re barking up the wrong tree.

I’m not a fan of a Dole or a Bush 41.

I’m just amazed at how the media, Drudge etal included, can dance us on a string and make us claw each others’ eyes out while Obama stays unscathed.

And what’s the tattletale ping to JimRob all about?

Really? I talked with numerous pro-Trump freepers on here when he was toying with a Presidential run and they swore he was serious as a heart attack about his patriotic conservative plans and tea-party values. Any attempt to point out Trump's record didn't match his rhetoric and/or pointing out he would be a terrible candidate for the GOP was meet with the grating of teeth and angry "and just who are YOU supporting for President?!" inquiries, as well as them adamantly insisting facts about Trump's long liberal record of supporting universal health care, gun control, wanting Bush impeached for Iraq, applauding Pelosi, etc., were "lies" and "anti-Trump smears"

You are exactly correct and anyone that says different is full of it. There is a fairly small core of people here that actually believe Trump is someone worth taking seriously (politically) - mostly birthers and protectionist Republicans. When Trump was blathering about birth certificate stuff he had a not insignificant cheering section who got suckered by him. When Trump gets on one of his protectionism tirades he also gets a sizable number of supporters. When the early reporting was that Trump was endorsing Newt, there was plenty of cheering for Donald Trump too.

The fact is, Trump is a political clown. Trump is out for Trump and virtually nothing else. Trump is selling a brand and he tirelessly pimps it at every opportunity. Trumps endorsement of Romney will hurt Mitt more than help him. Trump is NOT a conservative and never was. It is not surprising at all he endorsed the least conservative candidate in the field. I, for one, think this is great. Newt should feel relieved he isn't saddled with this buffoon supporting him.

Will spend billions more “fixing” the social safety hammock.
