The National Center for Public Policy Research is claiming a scalp today after Ford Motor Co. formally withdrew from the liberal U.S. Climate Action Partnership. The conservative non-profit announces today that Ford has withdrawn from the organization, which uses corporate support form management to work against shareholders' interests by promoting a cap-and-trade framework for carbon emissions.

I want to buy Ford. My company has always bought Ford trucks. This is another good reason to buy a Ford.
BUT now I need a new Suburban or similar. My 2000 is a bit ragged out. BUT, I can’t find a Ford product that matches it. And I hate to buy Obama Motors. Come on Ford, make something as good as a Suburban please.
Ford was first to recover after 2008, they took no bailout and renegotiated there union contracts, they are growing and GM is still in the hole and will remain there, don’t listen to the propaganda on the buisness news that say’s GM has recovered, all they have done is kick there collapse down the road.
I’m surprised they were there in the first place.

The Mulally mantra, good news, on top of good news in dribs and drabs a few days inbetween. This is just after a gang buster Detroit Auto Show.
My guess this will catch the attention of Conservative potential buyers.
Watch Friday, their earnings... My gut tells me the knock the skin off the ball. ( not investment advice) Our dear leader will not be happy when it makes GM look weak...
Back in the early years of the last decade, Ford had a CEO (can't remember his name) who was a firm believer in global warming and tried to steer the company towards more "green" policies. This is probably a hold-over from his reign.
