I am very proud of Rick Perry.

He clearly loves his country and puts country above himself. Far too few politicians have such honor.

You are correct.

CNN has been objective, mostly "fair and balanced" in this primary.

Fox and it's hosts have a dog in this hunt and it SHOWS.

Despicable.

We need to ensure Fox ratings drop by 15 points.

Newt Gingrich: The Indispensable Republican

"..He asked her to just tolerate the affair, an offer she refused..."

A request to tolerate the affair is about the same thing.

I don't like a lot of the commentators on CNN later in the day, but the morning crew is really pushing the idea that not only did Santorum win Iowa, but that it's a huge story that's being overlooked. That surprises me. They were talking about the debate tonight and saying that Iowa needs to be brought up and that Romney needs to address the numbers of jobs he claims to have created and that the numbers don't seem right.

RIP “Rick Perry for POTUS 2012”.
Can I get my money back?

I would like to personally thank you for your support of Rick Perry.

As much as he is a man of good moral fiber and character, he will return to Texas an even better leader after his national experience which your donation helped facilitate. So your investment will pay off for all the country because a strong Texas will show the way.

Thank you, again, my friend.

Sadly, I think Drudge is clearly in it for Mitt : / Unscientific I know, but he has not had even one even remotely flattering pic of Newt up there, and the same was for Perry until this morning, when the going home headlined...

Perry is about to make a huge speech, and you wouldn't know it from looking at Drudge.

I've been one of the biggest backers of Perry on FR, and I agree with this decision. It was time, and he was correct to do it before Saturday.

Rick Perry is an honorable man, loves God, loves Texas, and loves his country. I'm proud that he's my governor.

Could not have said it any better than this. Thank you and thanks for trying, Gov. Perry. I know your heart was in the right place.

I don't think he has any interest in being Vice President and really has no thirst for living in Washington D.C. Texas will be firmly in GOP hand this November so it would not make sense to nominate him for VP either. The Veep should be someone who can provide a boost in battleground states.

I was happy to have Rick Perry enter the presidential race and appreciate what he brought to the national discussion of all of the issues important to voters. However, it seemed obvious to me after a fairly short time that Perry was in the position of Fred Thompson who also started big and did not expand his following sufficiently to stay a viable candidate. I think that Perry was persuaded to run by others who saw his potential and were more ambitious for him than he was himself. Same for Thompson. If I were a Texan I would be proud of Rick Perry and support him as the great governor he is. Best wishes to Gov Perry who I believe will be a great asset to the Republican party in his very powerful job as governor of the great and powerful state of Texas.

[ Good. Maybe this news will throw a bucket of water on the Ex’s interview. ]

They will keep pulling this one out of the liberal playbook, count on it.

[ “If the rumor that he wanted multiple partners in his marriage is confirmed, I don’t think it will bode well for him with voters.”

You mean Newt has always been a horny old man? Wow, never woulda thunk it.

(sarcasm from one who lost a marriage to the swinging/partying life.) ]

At least we know he has lead weights in his loafers.

Yep. Not to mention that Perry is dropping AND endorsing Newt. Something tells me that if Perry had endorsed Mitt it would be headlining.

May God grant us strength and wisdom.

Good. Maybe this news will throw a bucket of water on the Ex’s interview.

Perry made a full endorsement of Newt and talked about forgiveness and how important it is.

Not a fan of Perry, but impressive speech. His talking about forgiveness was aimed at ABC.

And not only is Drudge ignoring the Perry story and Santorum winning Iowa, but he's now running a dorky photo of Santorum from high school.

It's good, I'm totally done with Drudge. I've got Free Republic, other news sites, I don't need Drudge, Fox News, etc.

If true, it’s the nation’s loss. Godspeed Governor in whatever path you choose

Looks like its a win for the nation and we have Gov. Perry to thank for that.
