1) Santorum
2) Perry

I’ve liked Newt for years, discussed his ideas with liberals to make their heads hurt and I think he’s a smart enough guy, but he’s made some terrible mistakes. Yes, I’ve read all the responses to Newt’s mistakes...

Any of the three would be better than Obama, I’m just not sure I can vote for Newt.

I found this here on FR: “We vote on records and votes, not promises and pledges.”

Newt has the media’s number and they HATE him. For this reason, he is our best hope of defeating Obama. Santorum and Perry would not stand against a hostile press. Newt can. Can you imagine Newt and Obama in a debate? I think it would be embarassing for Obama. I am 100% convinced Newt is the only one who can make our case for real change, not phoney change Obama claimed. Go Newt! Have you contributed yet? Wall St has and it’s going to Mitt. Do you want Wall St’s choice or the people’s choice?

Perry because of his executive experience. Then Newt, then Santorum. Each has significant pluses and very significant minuses, and none were my first choice when this whole mess got started. It’s a very close decision and wouldn’t take much to sway me. And I’d vote for any of the three of them in the general against Obama.

Newt.

Sigh.
I kept hoping things would turn around in South Carolina but it’s not looking good.

holding me nose because of his political history I'd still have to vote for Newt. I'd prefer Sarah Palin over any of them.

Santorum (whom the media would target his social conservatism)

then

Perry (whom the media would try to paint as GWB II)

then

Gingrich (whom the media would target his personal life)

I would vote and campaign for any of the three, to spite the media.

Santorum, cant trust Newt after his globaloney warming stints with Pelousy. If he is sooooo inteligent then why would he not look up the DATA, the real data! Their models DONT work! Typical computer garbage in garbage out senario.

Tough one...admire Santorum’s stand for life; Newt’s pit bull attitude, intelligence, and ability to communicate; Perry’s gubernatorial expertise. Hmmmm...
