Ron Paul's campaign is out with this new ad in South Carolina, which hits Rick Santorum on his "record of betrayal."
"One serial hypocrite exposed," the ad says, showing clips of Newt Gingrich. "Now another has emerged: Rick Santorum, a corporate lobbyist and Washington politician. A record of betrayal."

Kiss Romney’s ring, it’s over.
Bwahahahahahahahaaha!
This from the asshat that packs bills with earmarks, votes against the bill (which passes) and then says I never voted for earmarks.
Bwahahahahaa this racist loon is just TOO funny.
I think Ron Paul is in the tank for Romney somehow...he is no conservative.
I’m beginning to think that Ron Paul is simply Mitt Romney’s lackey, bizarre as that sounds. Why doesn’t Ron Paul go after Mitt?
Romney’s wingman.
My advice for Rick is to not laugh it off. Paul bites, and hiding isn’t going to work.
Paul is running fourth in SC so he’s out to kill Santorum and Gingrich, and he’s being helped by conservatives. Romney already leads and the best Paul can do is catch the other two for second.
Perry and his brain-freeze is starting to look pretty good next to this circular firing squad.
what is stopping the good guys from gathering Ron Paul’s nutty comments about 9/11, Iran, drugs, and racial issues - compiling it into a hit ad?
Is Paul going after Romney like this?
That’s just wrong on so many levels. Ron Paul is a desperate low life.
Are you sure Romney leads in South Carolina?
Ron Paul = Eugene Robinson.
Is this going to continue? We'll see but Ron Paul is slimy.
It is very possible that Ron Pauls mission is to do whatever it takes to help the democrat party and to damage conservatism. Ron Paul continually tries to corrupt the meaning of conservatism with his attempts to inject Code Pink talking points into it, and aligns himself with far left democrats on a host of issues (gay marriage, pro-choice at state level, anti-war, terrorist rights, etc ) and Paul serves to split the conservative vote to the best of his ability and now attacks conservative candidates as well.
In every way Paul seems to be a plant for the radical left-wing.
Is Paul a lifelong anti-conservative?
My cursory look at his lifetime of being a political hack, is that he promotes himself by leaving the left alone, and attacking the right.
Paul isn’t running against Romney or Obama, he is running against those who can defeat either one of them.
I read on a FR thread that RoPaul's crazy military ideas get the blessing/backing of Soros-affiliated groups.
Hmmm....to let Rombama be the last guy standing to face Bammie?
Ron Paul is colluding with WIllard.... I loathe that nuttier than squirrel poop under a Texas pecan tree congresscritter Ron Paul... and I regard Willard similarly.
>>> Ron Paul is slimy.
Understatement of the century.
Why? because George Soros hasn’t told him too.
Paul has no room to talk.

“Why doesnt Ron Paul go after Mitt?”
Why would he? As recently as a week ago I used to think that Ron Paul was a shoe-in to run as a third party candidate. I don’t think so anymore; I think he’s looking to deal.
So who is the most logical candidate to cut a deal with? Answer that question and you have your answer.
The Paulestinians should find their own homeland.
BTW, notice who Paul quotes here- the ultra leftist CREW. He might as well team up with Barney Frank and George Soros to work on a military policy.
Oh wait, he did.

“Kiss Romneys ring, its over.”
I don’t think so. I think Ron Paul is willing to cut a deal. It’s just that none of the other candidates seem to be interested. Very bad move on their part.
(Full disclosure: I’m a Ron Paul supporter. Not a particularly fervent one, but a supporter nonetheless)
Paul is a mean, jerk who has no chance in hell of winning and if he did, G— help us all.
If Romney gets the nomination, he’d probably beat Obama but would not substantially change DC (he is too centrist) and only slow down the country’s decline.
If Santorum gets the nomination, he’d probably beat Obama and would make substantial change and substantially slow down the decline, possibly reverse it overtime. Santorum doesn’t care what people think if it goes to his core principles.
I don’t think Gingrich could beat Obama. Too many of my conservative friends say they simply couldn’t vote for him with all the personal baggage and hypocrisy. Plus, even if he won I think he is too worried about his place in “history” and would be too accomadative to the media.
That's actually funny. Several of the Ron Paul websites are wondering why they don't go after each other and are speculating they may be partnering, possibly to have Paul on Mitt's ticket or cabinet, or even Rand as a VP nominee.
When Rick Santorum’s pro union pro big government train runs into SC - he’ll no longer be standing. He’s gonna get whupped in SC when folks realize that he is Santuckabee all over again - a pro life liberal.
As a quick search (posted on the other thread) reflects, this Paul ad is quoting Malanie Sloan. This should be a huge red flag to any Paul supporter, IMO.
Ron Paul needs to be put on Meds and monitored closely. Very unstable.
Good one...
Wrong Paul is a kook racist and nothing that he or anyone else has to say will changed my mind from voting for Santorum....If of course he is still in the race when Washington State votes.
Its the guy making Paul’s ads thats trying to help Romney, or rather he’s trying to help the establishment’s candidate because he wants to be a player in republican politics after the primaries are over. I read about this guy, but I forget what his name is.
This is what Sarah Palin was alluding to when she said the Republicans had better be willing to listen to Paul and his supporters, and accomodate them in some ways. She seems to already know they will be shopping around...

What kind of deal do you envision that might work?
I know you mean a Mitt/Rand ticket, but it mad me think of a Paul/Paul ticket LOL
Historical Father and Son ticket LOL
Rand Paul as Mitt’s VP would ensure three things;
1. Many conservative TEA Party types that LOATHE Romney (myself included) would support that ticket.
2. Wrong Paul would not run independantly.
3. Wrong Pauls’ kook, fringe supporters would probably vote almost en masse for that ticket rather than stay home and get stoned.
My god. We are one step away from Caligula's horse.
As opposed to Santorum who packed bills with earmarks and voted for the bill
I posted the same thing before the Iowa caucus...Paul has been spending millions to slam every candidate (but Romney)...then I read an interview where Paul slammed Newt and Santorum...but then curiously suggested that Romney might be acceptable
One major reason that senators make weak presidential candidates is that they usually have extensive voting histories, which can be cherry-picked by opposition researchers to smear the candidate with (some) of his own votes.
Given all the compromises, quid pro quos and procedural hijinks that go on in that whorehouse, I would bet that one could make any senator from either party look like a demon or a saint, pretty much at will.
On the other hand, you will notice how rare it is for the newt-haters to actually rely on his votes. They much prefer to float out offhand comments, attacks on his personal life, and the occasional brain fart, because his voting record does not support their efforts to smear him.
SC is an Open primary .
Paul bots are just Dems doing Soros work !
In IA tnr nutters support came from 82 Percent Dems !
Your looking at Union and Code Pink money here
We have a winning post !
Are you sure Romney leads in South Carolina?
As repulsive as it sounds, as of today he does lead in South Carolina....thank goodness that will change as we get closer to the primary.
And they’ve gotten plenty of help - right here.
Crazy Ronny has no conservative base !
His entire support in IA were Dems and radical kook leftist and bussed in union trolls
“Crazy Ronny has no conservative base !”
Funny...I do not recall saying that he did.
