Pro-Gingrich Group Posts Anti-Romney Ad, Featuring McCain

MANCHESTER N.H. — On the day Mitt Romney rolled out the endorsement of Senator John McCain of Arizona, a “super PAC” backing Newt Gingrich dug out an old gem and put in on the Web.

The PAC, Winning Our Future, posted a commercial slamming Mr. Romney by using past footage of him offering conflicting positions on issues like abortion, gun control and what it means to be a Republican.

“I will preserve and protect a woman’s right to choose and am devoted and dedicated to honoring my word in that regard,” he says.

But moments later, in another clip, he says: “You can go back to YouTube and look at what I said. I never said I was pro-choice.”

But it’s the kicker to the ad that makes it significant.

I don’t know how many true Conservatives there are in New Hampshire.

One of those stories where I dislike everyone involve(, but since the other posters have McCain and Romney covered, I have to wonder if we`ll be seeing an ad in response to this, using Newt`s whining and crying about negative ads and how Romney should have control over what outside groups put in their ads.

And the ad is hardly devastating. Political opponents saying negative things during a campaign, then endorsing each other when one becomes the nominee?

That`s a lot less rare than, I dunno, Newt shaking hands with Clinton and agreeing to work together, taking a photo sitting cozily with Nancy Pelosi, or saying he completely agrees with...uh...Romneycare.

Never liked Newt. He talks positive until it`s time not to be positive. Then he`s a surly, bitchy Washington pol.

i was thinking the same thing about her endorsing Romney in South Carolina. I am sure she has gotten her direction form McCrazy for sure. Lindsey sure is becoming an old ugly queen isn’t she. Man it sucks being a gay old gal.

My New Hampshire prediction. I did VERY good predicting Iowa before the caucus’. I even did better than the media.

Anyway here we go. Romney will not do as well as he thinks because NH will be good to Huntsman.
