The best times of a country are the ones in which the people decide their problems are their own. They do not blame them on anyone or anything. They realize they control their own destiny. One way or another, it's not about the leader, it's about the people. A country's leader is a manifestation of its people's character.

Through apathy, indifference, and dependence upon the government, we're about to be, once again, enslaved.

Tell me how they are rthe same.

Ah ah. You first. You're trying to make the case on this thread that a Romney presidency would somehow be better than a second Obama term.

You've stood up here and LOUDLY proclaimed this to everyone. Now explain your reasoning. What substantial difference is there between Obama and Romney?

I suppose there might be a Zimbabwean nickel's worth of difference between the two.

I'm trying to get OSHA to tell us what that Zimbabwean nickel's worth of difference is. He keeps insisting that Romney's better, but he refuses to explain how.

The RINO GOP can suck the snot form my nose for all I care.

Want to replace Obama? Do it with a candidate I can support. No Doles, No McCains, NO RINOS!

I say it’s organized voter fraud, and it comes from the top of the democrats on down

Alright, so tell us. What's the substantial difference between Romney and Obama?

With Obama the country dies more quickly.

I recall a president named Nixon who campaigned as a conservative, yet when he got in, he embraced the Great Society, vastly expanded federal intrusion into the economy by creating the EPA and OSHA, started Affirmative Action, appointed the Supreme Court Justice who wrote Roe vs Wade, and tried to push through a guaranteed annual income.

People forget this. Nixon probably did at least as much to destroy this country as LBJ. By rights liberals should idolize him.

I voted for Sarah not the old machine or the RINOs. The Republicans and Democrats are too much alike for me. The tea party needs to start it's own party and not try to take over the tired old ideas republican party. The original Tea Party was against the Loyalists. The democrats and the republicans are the loyalists now and for real change we need a real party not run by the big money and world organizations.

Yep, we've pretty much established that Romney would take us down the same path as Obama, albeit without all the rush and fanfare. We'd be utter fools to believe that he'd change course in any meaningful way.

What I'm trying to find out from OSHA, is what the actual substantive difference is between these two big government liberals. He refuses to say, yet he insists that we vote for the pastel pink over the bold red.

Maybe it's a boil that needs to be popped. With a RINO in it just keeps festering.

NO MORE!

The country may die but The Constitution and FREEDOM will live.

From a dead, entitlement country perhaps a new land of opportunity will arise like The Phoenix from the ashes.

Rombot,

I would rather have Satan's brother in the White House than Romney or Paul. At least you know where he stands.

I agree with you OSHA.

I will support the Republican nominee and pray it’s not Romney or Paul.

Of the two I think Paul would be the hardest to support but he doesn’t have a chance.

Everyone wishes all the conservatives (except the one we like) would drop out and support one of the others.

Probably not gonna happen.

I’m guessing that if Bachmann drops out, she’ll support Romney (she’s never attacked him much)

ALL polling shows that the lion's share of Bachmann, Perry, Cain, and Santorum supporters go to the remaining conservative, Newt.

It is what it is. Poor Romney.

EVERY election from when I started voting in the 60's the GOP has used the scare tactic of "This is THE MOST important election in our lifetime" to get the gullible to vote for the RINO of the moment.

Then it's more of the same. Bigger government, higher taxes, less liberty.

Bring it on. Let's get it over with.

NO Rockefellers, Romneys, McCains, Doles, COUNTRY CLUB REPUBLICANS! NO!

In the 2008 election here in Pittsburgh I was chastised by the Hillman republicans when I went into the local HQ and not finding a sign with PALIN'S name on it was told to shut up, McCain was the nominee and Palin was nothing!

Go to Hades you non conservatives who will vote for anything with an R behind the name!

Take this RINO's and those who will vote for anyone but Obama:

"If ye love wealth better than liberty,
the tranquility of servitude
better than the animating contest of freedom,
go home from us in peace.
We ask not your counsels or your arms.
Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.
May your chains set lightly upon you,
and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

One of my favorite quotes from S Adams.

Yup, I'm ticked off, but I hide it so well...!
