The sad part is, Avila-Alva was reported to authorities for domestic assault Thanksgiving week but avoided arrest after his wife, who was taken to a women's crisis shelter, refused to file charges against him.She left the shelter and went back to him.I could never work it out, why she went back to such a violent environment.

When a person is a victim of abuse, their sense of self is manipulated and often, destroyed. It is difficult to get out when that happens.

The same happens to many children who are targeted for abuse like in the Sandusky case. They are just terrified and broken in spirit.

It’s really hard to understand because it makes no sense to one standing on the outside. Brutal and/or manipulative and punitive toltaltarian regimes can break the spirt of whole societies.

Had she pressed charges, she would have been eligible for a “U-Visa” to give her U.S. residency. But she clearly wanted the money Jose provided for her fast-growing brood. Illegal alien women are baby factories. I saw a couple the other day who had 8 children under 10 and she was pregnant again. The United States is facing demographic catastrophe, and it can’t even be discussed.
