DEVELOPING: Former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky admitted to showering and horsing around with young boys but said he is not a pedophile in an exclusive interview with Bob Costas in an exclusive interview for NBC News' Rock Center airing tonight at 10 pm/9 CT.
"I say that I am innocent of those charges," said Sandusky in a phone interview with Costas.
When asked by Costas, "Are you a pedophile," Sandusky responded "No."

Speaking on “Good Morning America” Monday, newly appointed Penn State University President Rodney Erickson said that the university is committed to the victims of the crime and raising awareness of child sexual abuse.
“We understand there will be lawsuits filed. We’re prepared to do the right thing for all the victims. We will do everything we can do … We’re going to engage in a wide range of programming that will raise the issue of child sex abuse, to make this a national issue,” Erickson said.
TRANSLATION:
“We will pay whatever amount of money that is required to make this go away.”

Seems as though the repeated witnessed acts of naked Bear-hugging, cracking their backs, wrestling after hours in siderooms of empty gyms at night, and that fellacio thing with 10 year old kids also probably shouldn’t have been done either. As in The Duke Lacrosse Frame civil suits (which are proceeding at a glacial pace), Penn State MUST do whatever is required to prevent discovery in any criminal or civil trials.
Conviction or acquittal of Sandusky is of secondary importance.
