What?

You should probably state a position or give some pre-text.

Herman Vain?

They’ll push their guys and we’ll get Obammy for 4 more years. The GOP doesn’t seem to realize that they’re out of second chances.

GOP Establishment do next?Any Predictions?

They'll Bork Newt next in order to make sure Mittens has a clear path to the nomination without a serious conservative challenger.

Mittens will win NH. That is a given. It is just by what amount. If it is within 10 points, Mittens and the establishment has problems. If it is a blowout like it looks like it will be, no matter what happens in the early states, the establishment will still pimp for Mittens. They will use the NH win as something to grasp to.

We have to keep our eyes open for what they have in store for him if this character assassination fails.

As much as they’re clinging to it, though, it sure looks like this is all they got.

Don't forget Florida, my friend : )

BREAKING NEWS:

A Rasmussen poll conducted Tuesday, the day after Bialek’s press conference, found Cain leading in Florida with 30 percent of the vote — six points ahead of Romney and 11 ahead of former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.

Remember: IA + SC + FL = Cain is our nominee, no question about it.

OK, it's 3pm in the East Coast time zones, so you can't blame this on lack of coffee.

OK, it's 3pm in the Least Toast time bones, so you can't flame this on rack of toffee.

Thought I'd join in on the fun.

Some will support him, but the majority will either be silent or endorse Obama “for the good of the country” in exchange for power and clout in the future.

I think that the GOP has been on “Double-Secret-Probation” since 2010 and if the pull some CRAP(Mitt,Perry), then the “GOP” will cease being a viable major party. Funding will slowly(at first) then faster(later) dry up and the GOP will be a N/E regional Party.

1964 all over again, when the GOP old-guard (including Mitt Romney’s father) refused to endorse the nominee.

Think of the Christine O’Donnel election. Karl Rove and the GOP establishment went off on here verbally. The state GOP refused to give her any money or support after she won the primary (they didn’t even have her as the nominee on their web site). Then, they blamed the Tea Party for her loss.

Think of that happening on a national level.

The more interesting question is what will they do if Cain wins the nomination. At a minimum, I expect many establishment types to endorse, and campaign for, Obama. I also think there will be a big push to get Romney to run as an independent.

Between Cain and Obama, there is little doubt at this point that most of the GOP establishment would want Obama to win.

I honestly think that he is at risk of being assassinated by a “right wing extremist” if he gets the nomination. I sincerely believe they would go that far. Right now, the country is on the brink and the stakes are VERY high. Desperate times call for desperate action.

If these hit jobs against Herman Cain don't work, the Establishment will come up with others. They don't want an outsider winning.

If Sarah Palin had run, she would be facing even worse.

If the Establishment wins and knows it can keep doing this in the future, then we, the people, will find it hopeless to fix our government.

We cannot let them win. Please, do not waver in your support for Herman Cain.

The GOP establishment is not Cain’s biggest enemy.

Obama is the one behind these attacks. Bet on it.

While Obama is attacking Cain head on, he is also attacking the republican voter base by trying to blame establishment republicans... Very subtle but effective party bashing going on here.

Yeah... the GOP establishment want’s Romney.

But they DO NOT sink to the levels that Obama does to accomplish their objectives.

How is the GOP out of second chances? If you [we really because it includes me] do not get the candidate of your wishes, you still must decide whether you prefer Obama to whomever is the GOP nominee. That is the only choice one has.

Why do you begrudge others their choice in the GOP primaries. You sound like a my way or I am taking my ball home kid on a play ground.

“not in sickness, but in health” isn’t new, but many have forgotten about it.

Newt has escaped criticism because of rules against “punching down”. Now that Newt isn’t really “down” anymore, all of his adultery will be discussed where useful to other candidates.
