Mitt Romney: The Creep Factor (Yes, Vanity)
October 19, 2011 | Sebastian B. O. Buniontoe

Posted on 10/19/2011 7:09:01 PM PDT by MN_Mike

Okay, the creepiness is overwhelming. Mitt Romney strikes me as the guy who wants to be president so bad that his ambition overrides his intellect. During last night's debate it was the cheap shot fired at Perry "well you've had a couple of bad debates" and Romney's hand resting atop Perry's shoulder. But if you've followed all the debates as I have you will notice a repeat offender. There is simply no graciousness to the man. And I'm an avowed Palinista.

Both Romney and Perry ooze of used car salesman.

Obama’s a very lucky man.

He never said anything about illegal immigration after 2008 and in between when he announced his candidacy this year. He pretended he was the anti-illegal immigration candidate. Romney didn’t complain when the Obama Admin. stopped the border fence, and didn’t voice a lot of support for the AZ law. He also hasn’t complained about Obama granting amnesty by executive order.

I’m trying to figure out why the Obama-loving mainstream media is so high on Romney. It seems as if it has to be one of the following two (somewhat contradictory) reasons:

1. They believe that Obama is most vulnerable on Obamacare, and that Romneycare will negate much of that issue for him, enabling Obama to get reelected.
2. They are pretty well convinced that Obama is toast, and Romney, being the most liberal of the electable republicans, would be more acceptable to the left than a real conservative like Herman Cain.

Is there another reason I might have overlooked?

FreeRepublic is going nuts.

You folks just can’t disagree with someone who’s not 100% on board with what you believe. Now folks are evil even if they are 50% on board, 75% on board, whatever.

We will lose this election if this kind of thinking persists.

I am waiting for the day after Romney becomes the nominee.
Lo and behold, the “mainstream media” will show us that they do know how to do research on a candidate’s religion: they will be analyzing just what the Mormon church actually teaches and it won’t work for Mitt to say that it is off limits. It will be peddle to the metal: and the truth about the LDS church will be devastating.

When Mitt invaded Perry’s space (not the first time) and put his hand on his shoulder, it reminded me of Al Gore on stage with George W. Bush during a debate when he walked up and towered over Bush who was sitting down. Just don’t like that type of mannerism.

To 10 - One cannot find it easy to agree with Romney on anything as he will utter what the audience in front of him at the moment wishes to hear. So how can you state that he is 50% or 75% right on any given issue(s)?

Tell me, what positive achievements do you believe a President Romney would bring about?

I do not understand why republicans are so stupid. The man is a walking disaster: plastic, weird, reeking of “privilege” and everything that is stereotypically “rich”. It is dumbfounding that the establishment cannot see that he is in fact dangerous to their staying in power. Gives me the creeps.

Of course Romney wants to be president. His church is demanding it of him in order to fulfill the White Horse Prophecy that Joseph Smith wrote in the early to mid l800’s. The Mormon church wants to take over our government, and then the world. That is one of the main reasons Mormons have always stocked up on extra food and necessities. This cannot be allowed to happen! Google it.

Putting aside what a creep and liberal he is : a Mormon candidate will be a HUGE TARGET: and they are salivating.

To 17 - I cannot respond as I'm not that aware of what Mormons believe. Those Mormons I have known have been very nice people.
It isn't, never was, nor ever will be, Romney's religion that repulses me. It's the fact that the man is a two-faced, lying cur who covets the presidency like a drug addict would crave heroin.
This alone tells me that Romney is a very insecure person. A trait hardly desirable in a POTUS.

"He doesn't kick his dog" or "he has nice hair" doesn't count.

I think the Book of Mormon says that Jesus was God’s first born son. That means there was another one? Possibly. But Mormonism is a Secret Society and Mitt is like at the 33rd degree of Freemasonry, another Secret Society. At that level one is told who they are really worshipping, if I’m not mistaken.

Well maybe if you actually knew what he believes you might be repulsed. Just wait if he is the nominee everyone in America will learn all about it in the Post, The NY times, and CNN. The Mormon church will be exposed like never before.

Spot on. It is a secret society and many silly people say things like ‘Mormons are such nice people”. Americans are going to get an expose like we have never seen before if he is the nominee. Don't kid yourselves: the left and the democrats did their homework on this years ago and are salivating at the prospect.

I didn’t make it up. A little study of the subject pretty much claims that is the goal. Joseph Smith even proclaimed himself the new Mohammad. He also wrote the White horse Prophecy. Mormonism is very close akin to Islam. Check it out for yourself. Read Decker’s and Hunt’s “The Godmakers” and Walter Martin’s “Kingdom of the Cults”.

The socialist Democrats who voted for the African Marxist disater in the White Hut, but will grace us with their “smart” presence if Romney gets the nomination, can join Obama’s black and brown shirt racist, Arabwannabe pals in New York.

Airy Fairy ditzs always make a horrendous mess in the name of the latest inane political correctness cause and then try to put socialist Republicans into power to fix it minus any reform (turnback of their “progress”). There is no “fixing” Marxism. It is an evil mentality.

They have wrecked one party and that is enough. The American people need the other party committed to restoring constitutional government and freedom.

It is not difficult to figure out why the Republican political elites want RINO Romney. Forget the “he’s the only one who can win” B.S. The real reasons why the GOP elites want Romney: (1) the GOP elites hate conservatives and the TEA Party; (2) the GOP elites see the socialist/Marxist Donkeys as the allies and not opponents; (3) the GOP elites don’t really care if Romney wins or Obama wins because to them it’s all about political power and clout over the American population; (4) the GOP elites are very happy playing second fiddle to the Donkeys of the Left because it gives them cover and they know their Donkey buddies will take care of them; (5) the GOP elites are craven, spineless, sniveling, cowards without a backbone or principles or courage; and (6) the GOP elites want the MSM to praise them and like them because an adoring press is like a narcotic to GOP elites — they crave good publicity from the MSM like a methamphetamine user craves his/her next dose of the drug.
