DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – The anti-Wall Street protests happening across the country are about to spread to North Texas.
A group is planning a huge march and demonstration in downtown Dallas Thursday and they’re willing to go to jail to get their point across.
The group called Occupy Dallas is an offshoot of a group staging a protest in New York City called Occupy Wall Street.
Groups are demonstrating and protesting government bailouts of big Wall Street institutions, joblessness, global warming and the influence of corporate money in politics among a host of other issues.

Obama is the leader of this movement plain and simple. His “the rich don’t pay their fair share” has caused all of this. I think I will drive by tomorrow to see the dregs of society. Should be a hoot.

Perhaps this “Anonymous” crowd should be introduced to several of those minivan-sized longhorns.

The poster seems to take great delight in telling us all how many are there, what groups are there etc.

Bad idea. The Dallas Federal Building is HEAVILY armed. Not a good idea at all.
This is Texas/OU Weekend, which means this was already a weekend to avoid Dallas.

The crap was about to hit the fan with fast and furious, solyndra and now Obamacare with SCOTUS. They are wagging the dog.
Thing is, if the Marxists want a fight, why not give them one?
They got a job - protesting, blocking streets and roads and making life tougher for taxpayers.
Too bad there are no more real investagative reporters.
I would like to see someone come up with evidence on exactly who is footing the bill for these planned "spontaneous" demonstrations.

I really wish we could get a group of Freepers together to head out there together. Maybe do lunch. Unfortunately, those who would be interested tend to have responsibilities, unlike the protesting sheep.
I intend to go. I’ll take my camera, as usual. Hopefully the one with the video function still works. I’d love to get some video and audio. We’ll see.
The Rats certainly want this and whoever funds it will go down hard since
they no longer control congress. Hopefully after 2012 we'll have a super majority.
That has to be the most UN-American comment ever on FR. I am surprised its tolerated here. Think about life without the Constitution.
