Solyndra Executive Has ‘Responsibility’ to Clam Up, Says Attorney ( Valerie Jarrett mentioned )
Yahoo ^ | Sep 24, 2011 | Anthony Ventre

Thugs in suits, I was thinking. What did they do with over half a billion bucks of taxpayer money?

With that kind of score, why would some dumb criminal even think of robbing a liquor store, a drug store, or even a bank? The real money is in white-collar capers, with special treatment and little chance of arrest.

All you've got to do is send a team of grifters to the offices of Obama administration adviser Valerie Jarrett and the bucks will be delivered to your bank account with thanks from a grateful administration.

...

whoever agreed to put the taxpayers behind private sector hedge fund investors in the Solyndra loan guarantees may have violated the law, according to Rep. Phil Gingrey of Georgia.

"Why was this loan of $528 million subordinated to a second loan from the private sector when the Energy Committee Loan Program strictly prohibits that?"

The principle tenet of this administration is: Laws, we don’t need no stinkin laws.

Isn’t it unusual for Corporate types to plead the 5th when no criminal charges have been filed?

Will a forensic audit show where and to whom the checks were written?

Again, just get an old typewriter, produce documentation proving the Solyndra loot was intended to enrich Bush and Cheney, and the media will be all over it, 24/7.
Like Fast and Furious, nothing stopping it but a plausible link to eevil Republicans.

The thieving Democrats are backing trucks up to the public treasury trying to get as much loot as they can before 2012.

It’s past time to start investigating Obama’s Honky half...that wouldn’t be racist, would it?

Congress needs to identify someone in Solyndra, not at the top, but high enough to have known what was going on, and give him or her immunity to oblige him or her to testify.

It's much bigger than that. This is the "Ruling Class", both pubs and dems, on display. Pubs like Upton and Issa had their hands out and used their influence to steer deals from this same pot of money to their districts as well.

Sending the FBI in to seize the records somehow made these execs the target of a criminal investigation, thus eligible to plead the 5th. Holder will likely sit on doing any kind of investigation until after the 2012 elections.

“forensic audit”?

A criminal enterprise doesn’t surrender the real records.

Do you really believe this DOJ is looking for facts?

Yep, clamming up is exactly what they should do then us little people will be certain that they, in cahoots with the current administration, are a bunch of crooks.

Oh wait, they are Democrats that lean toward being Marxist which means they are a bunch of crooks.

Do you really expect the regime to do any type of meaningful investigation?

So tell me, were the companies in Upton and Issa's districts denied loans by the previous administration because their books just didn't jibe? Do the companies in Upton and Issa's districts have a month/year expiration date like Solyndra did?

Really doesn't matter. The whole purpose was to get them into court, and have the case 'in trial'. That means that the 'corporate types' can no longer discuss the case publicly.

See how that works?

You're focused on Solyndra details that infuriate me as well. My request is to take a half step back and realize that this is not Dem vs Pub. The foxes are guarding the hen house and it is a mistake to think guys like Upton have our best interest at heart. The ruling class is all about self preservation, period.

Uh....they were NOT in “court”!
They were in front of Congress, which is NOT a judicial body.
There have been no charges filed and there is no legal restriction on them speaking publicly on the matter.

See how that works?
