FACE THE NATION (CBS): Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, head of the Democratic National Committee; Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Plouffe; British Prime Minister David Cameron; Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the Palestine Liberation Organization's executive committee.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Plouffe; Gov. Mitch Daniels, R-Ind.; Sens. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., and Mark Warner, D-Va.
What has to originate in the House are bills that are for the purpose of raising revenue - tax bills, and tax bills only.
Spending bills can originate in either chamber.
This made more sense when the federal government more or less stayed within its enumerated spending powers.
Agree. I like Palin very much and will give her serious consideration if she gets in.
Whether she can win the nomination is up in the air. She has a lot of dedicated followers, but I do not know if that will be enough.
I like Cain as well. In some ways he has a better resume than she does. They sure would be a formidable team!

Herman Cain has a wonderful history, and strong conservative principles, but his pushing a total tax reform is not going to be a winner among the huge middle group of voters in our country.
It may be fabulous as a policy, but it cannot be debated during a national election campaign. It is a turn-off.
Steve Forbes also had great transformative ideas. Didn’t get him very far when he ran.

As usual, they and the political establishments of both political parties do not have a clue that a citizen/voter revolution is in strong progress. Both Perry and Romney are out!!! The Republican ticket, thanks to the Tea Party, will truly be a fully conservative choice. The Herman Cain win is a game changer!!! First it says, “Democrat Party, POTUS Obama, VP, Joe Biden, Congressional Black Caucus, NAACP take your Black racism and stick it where the sun does not shine. The Tea Party is not racist at all. You folks are!!! Second, and more important, the Cain victory sends the message to the Republican establishment types that we, the people, are damned sick and tired of politically correct types like Mitt Romney & Rick Perry!!! This race is not yet underway and much will happen and change until a Pubbie nominee is selected. However, Herman Cain has proved, he is truly a man of courage & determination for all seasons!!! And......as a side bar, watch how the mainstream media ignores and demeans the Black man that changed the political game in America!!! However, their weak banter and spin will not work at all!!! Just watched panel on FNS. They talked about the current field and the possibility of someone else getting in.
They absolutely made a point of not even mentioning the name Gov Sarah Palin....what a bunch of A HOLES they all are
Only one they mention is the fat RINO Christie. They continue to disrespect Gov Palin, who is on the verge of announcing her run.
They figure if they ignore her she will go away, I think they must really believe that
Brit Hume, on the panel, just mentioned the lack of a Senate budget bill, minutes from the end of the program.

Take a page from herman Cain, and talk up your candidate’s good points, instead of trashing others. As can be seen by the Florida Straw Poll, people respond to that.
You are turning people off by making nasty cracks, and it is not doing Palin any good.
Sad state of affairs, that when a Black man of conservative bent wins a major straw poll by a landslide, and......changes the political game overnight, not one, not one of these Sunday morning shows moved to put him on. Well, American Black folk, you have now witnessed your allies, the liberal, Democrat media at work, keeping you folks down on the economic slavery farm!!! Hopefully, some day, you will wake up and realize liberals, Obama, the CBC and the NAACP are no friends of the American Black community!!!

I totally disagree. I find that Perry, Romney and Cain could all be possibilities, and Palin, too, if she gets in.
Newt carries too much baggage, but is a great idea guy. bachmann has unfortunately made too many gaffes, plus hiring Rollins indicated a serious lack of judgement or awareness of his reputation.
Quit talking our people down. They are ALL far better than any of the past democrat candidates (Gore, Kerry) and far better than Obama. It is not a weak field at all.
