Whether she said that or not, just the fact that it’s BELIEVABLE she said it. Her scorn for this country is well-known, and usually her handlers try to keep her out of the limelight. I’m sure she’d be more than willing to come out full-fledged, ala Hillary.

Isn't it interesting that previous First Ladies were involved with efforts that had some intellectual or cultural benefits:

Eleanor Roosevelt traveled around the country for her husband, authored a weekly newspaper column and hosted a radio show. Jacqueline Kennedy engaged in an expansive campaign to restore the White House. Lady Bird Johnson pioneered environmental protection and beautification; Pat Nixon promoted volunteerism; Betty Ford supported women's' rights; Rosalynn Carter aided those with mental disabilities; Nancy Reagan founded the "Just Say No" drug awareness campaign; Barbara Bush promoted literacy; Hillary Rodham Clinton sought to reform the healthcare system in the U.S.; and Laura Bush supported women's' rights groups and encouraged childhood literacy.

Michelle Obama has focused her efforts on food--figuratively and literally.
