Sarah Palin stirs the pot but doesn’t announce By Jennifer Rubin Sarah Palin didn’t announce her candidacy for president Saturday at a Tea Party gathering in Iowa. But she did complicate matters for front-runner Texas Gov. Rick Perry, suggesting an actual strategy may be at work: If Perry stumbles, she might get into the race. But don’t bet on it.

Mitt Romney and Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) might want to sent Palin some flowers. She did an enormous favor for them in making the argument against “crony capitalism,” one of the most potent arguments against Perry. As this report observed:

I tried to make sure that they were all Palin threads, I may have accidentally pulled a Perry thread, please forgive me if I did. Also, some of the posts are pretty harmless, but the point was that you said it never happens. I actually thought there were more (and there are many more that I didn't post.. but not the ones that I was looking for... being that I read all of the candidate threads that I can catch, I may have been thinking of some that are in the Perry (or even a different candidate) thread.. apologies there too.
I try not to comment about other candidates in their threads, but I do pay attention to the positives and negative (linked sources included) so I know who the strongest candidates are. Even in the Palin threads, I try not to get involved in the arguments, although I do choose to support Palin.
I was never good at debate (or arguments), so I just watch things unfold as they do. There are some very good supporters, call us what you wish, that are MUCH better at getting the information printed out than I could ever do.. I usually stick with the graphics.

No hard feelings intended at all either..

Randomly picking some of your (not links) out of The manic list, I found mostly real mean things like “guys are being led by the nose as palin does the hokey pokey” , “palinite cadre here seems to actually believe that tens of millions of American voters will rush out to Walmart to pick up the DVD and will then experience a ‘Paul on the road to Damascus’ revelation about Palin’s(™) unavoidable destiny to lead us” and the WORST “She has been playing it just too cute if she still intends to run” which is a far cry from the slanderous distorted and untrue smears even on this thread against Perry on EVERY Perry thread.
