How much of this final deal was worked out weeks ago between Obama, Boehner, McConnell, Pelosi, and Reid?

The economy is off the table until after the 2012 election and there's no commitment for a BBA. Is that about right? Fire Boehner for not stopping this.

This was never about stopping the spending. Boehner screwed up with the CR in December 2010 and he screwed up here with Boehner 2.0. They should have passed 'Cut, Cap and Balance' as many times as necessary, putting the ball in Cowboy Reid's court until he cries 'uncle.'

One thing I'm not seeing or hearing discussed is the apparent deal made to allow the Bush tax cuts expire.

Obama WILL get his tax increases with or without being included in this deal.

This is all smoke and mirrors. This deal will do absolutely nothing to control spending in Washington.

By the end of O-bozo’s term, the national debt will be close to 20 trillion. This is a debt cutting deal?

We are being snookered once again. Senators, Reps, the White House and the MSM are trumping this up as if it were the deal of the century.

I hope the house drags this to a screeching halt.
