I try to turn a blind eye, but....AYFKM?

Yes, lets give up the gains we made in the house, over a transitory moment on the way to controlling the entire government.

I just had this argument last night, with someone much smarter on the merits, but at the end of the day, the truth is, there can be no meaningful reform with the Kenyan in the White House, and Dingy Harry as Maj.Leader.

2012 Changes that. Every Republican that can get by without voting No to Boner, needs to show that they understand what Reagan said.

You take the Half a loaf now. When you come back, You’re now negotiating for the rest.

The Tea Party has WON. (Are we talking about enhancing revenue...No.)

Dont try to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory FCOL.

While it's all disgusting, this part particularly irks me: "including cuts to Defense and Medicare. This "trigger" is designed to force action on the deficit reduction committee's recommendations by making the alternative painful to both Democrats and Republicans."

That defending the nation is so repugnant to Democrats that cuts in defense only are "painful" to Republicans---and that this stupid statement even is allowed to be printed---is odious in the extreme.

When they are really serious about reducing the debt and compounded interest and doing right for the country contact the people. Otherwise leave us the hell alone and get out of our lives.

A message worth spreading.

Boehner had said the committee under his plan wouldn't get higher taxes through because it required a 3/5th vote in the Senate and the House wouldn't go along with tax increases anyway.

Information on this new version is still fuzzy but I recall Reid pushing for simple majority votes on the committee recommendations which means a simple majority needed to raises taxes. I'd much rather see a 4% across the board cut than that even if my person taxes are no effected.

Reid is out there saying "majority rule" "majority rule" "majority rule" at the same time he wants "compromise" and a "bi-partisan approach" from the House.

It's pathetic to see Reid and his Rabble get away with their doublespeak and misinformation.

They sent him a bill that enjoyed bipartisan support.
