Absolutely. Linda was a wonderful example of what any young woman may become if they apply themselves. As you said, her professionalism was greatly appreciated.
“It consumes crazy people who have no life.”
Not exactly. Sanctimonious much? Personally I was fascinated with the real life drama that played out, captivated by watching a murder trial and how the lawyers argued, how the judge ruled, how the witnesses responded. Horrified by the one standing trial and what she did, compassionate towards the suffering and death of a little girl who I felt I somewhat got to know, what with seeing so many pictures and video of her, and also curious of the psychological aspects involved with this. I guess you could describe it as a train wreck that’s hard to look away from. Would have been able to if people had cleaned up the wreckage.
I’m an avid reader, my family goes to zoos, museums, parks and the like. I was on vacation from work a week during the trial and feeling pretty depressed lately. For various reasons. Somehow this trial, amongst other mundane things at times, takes me out of myself and into something else to think about. When you are really depressed the things you used to get enjoyment from don’t have the same effect anymore.
After living and breathing and talking about all things Obama the last 2 years I can say I have spent enough time on him! What’s crazy is NOT getting involved in anything else now and then.
