Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney on Thursday backtracked on a central theme of his presidential campaign: that President Obama has made a struggling U.S. economy even worse.
"I didn't say that things are worse," Romney said at a press conference in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Watching Romney and watching the polls that show him ahead everywhere is liking watching a mile race with the stupid kid way out in front who sprinted the first lap. Yes, HE IS WINNING, but no he will not be the winner. Romney is Obama's second term dream opposition candidate. Jon Huntsman, Jr. likely his VP choice if the GOP and RNC have their say-so.
All he did was supply the media with a propaganda windfall, a chance to sell their pro Obama selling points with Romney nodding his head apologetically, as though there was nothing to substantially, or honestly, attack Obama with after all.
