What a great way to funnel even more money to the banksters!

Hey! Working Poor! You just got screwed all over again. Just like the Cash for Clunkers program that robbed the car market of affordable, good quality used cars, so shall this rob the housing market of those low cost starter homes that you’d be moving into if the deadbeats that presently have them would just leave.

So, congratulations, you just got nailed by another year of living in $1000+ a month apartments.

I went through HELL to stay out of bankruptcy/foreclosure, etc. but would never impose on my fellow citizens for help.

I can’t even stand to read this article, and won’t! The title says enough.

This makes me sick to my stomach. What is the point in playing by the rules? I’m quite sure no one will ever bail me out if I run into financial difficulties. Quite sure. I don’t fit into any of the favored demographics. (Not that I’d want anything from the government)

We need a “like” button for posts like this. You took the words right out of my mouth.

Play by the rules, work 2 and sometimes 3 jobs to pay the bills and get kicked in the teeth like this?

My husband and I could have sat home and done just a minimum wage job and bought a home we couldn’t afford, but nope, we worked hard all our lives. Sometimes we each had 2 job and sometimes he had 3. We have 2 well brought up responsible daughters that are married and 1 has 2 children. They work hard and pay their bills too, I guess we taught them wrong.

Don’t know about anyone else but I’m tired of paying through my sweat and hard work for someone that got in over their heads when they should have known better. Now if you lost a job and literally cannot find one, that’s different, but if you went out and bought a $350,000 house you couldn’t afford because you qualified for a high risk loan - I want no part of helping them.

Exactly how I feel.

There is a huge and fundamental flaw in the way Obama and his ilk view the world. They refuse to place any responsibility for bad outcome on those who reap those bad outcomes. If you don't work hard, have no self control, and make no significant efforts to better yourself and your life, then it isn't the fault of the rest of us that you aren't living the kind of life you want to live. Further, you are not, in ANY way, entitled to take from others to make your life better.

Clearly, society is full of cheats, and liars, and just plain ‘hurtful’ and hateful people, and some who are hurting in the world have been victimized by these types of people. No question.

It is very important to acknowledge, however, that cheats, liars, and hurtful/hateful people do not come from only one socioeconomic category. So, you can't bring social justice by targeting the successful. That approach is just as socially unjust as any other form of social injustice, but it is nonetheless the approach taken by people like Holder and Obama. They are misguided at best, but are spiteful, prejudiced, and hate driven if they understand but pursue this course anyway.

The video that ought to accompany this thread is the one where barry the bastard told Joe the Plumber what barry the commie bastard wanted to do when place in the affirmative action office of pResident. THAT and the one where barry shouted ‘we are five days away from transforming America’. The sonofabitch is transgforming it alright. I am learnign to hate democrats of all levels of income and influence. The leadership of the DNC 9including the bastard int eh WHite Hut) are anti-American enemies of the Republic.

POS barry the bastard went on from telling Joe that he wanted to spread Joe's wealth around, to insulting Joe in a speech only a day or two later, after hearing what Joe wanted to make of the company he was hoping to buy which he was working for. THAT is typical democrat divisive politics, to ridicule a working man when speaking to union thugs and welfare suckers.

Here's the way I remember it. The the Halfrican bastard made this speech to his ACORN & union thugs I would bet even money that Joe could have done a better job preserving The Republic than the commie bastard crapping int he White Hut.
