Tracy Morgan says he's sorry for telling an audience that he would "pull out a knife and stab" his son for being gay.
The comedian and actor on NBC's "30 Rock" apologized Friday to his fans and the gay and lesbian community for what he called "my choice of words" during his June 3 appearance at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

Tina Fey, who loves to imply Sarah Palin is stupid and hateful, has come running to the defense of her co-star Tracy Morgan. See, because, she "knows Tracy Morgan isn't hateful". Chris Rock and CNN's Roland Martin also came to the defense of Tracy Morgan.
Tracy Morgan says he'd rather have murdered his son than have a gay one. But it is all a joke, ya know....
Oh by the way: it happened over a WEEK ago, and the media never reported it.

btw Mr. Morgan once quipped that Sarah Palin was “good masturbation material” (last Jan.) which gives him additional bonafides among libs.

Some of my gay Hollywood friends are NOT defending Tracy - they’re mad as hell. One of my ultra, ultra liberal sorority sisters added her name to a boycott of Morgan on Facebook.
And those of us who never utter words of killing people for choosing to be “gay” but through our loving hearts wish to help people leave that sinful and self-destructive lifestyle are the “hateful” ones.
Why a ‘’gay’’ people always so angry?
Facebook is turning into a typical today’s backstabbing hatefest like most social networking sites. Teens are turning into the same barbarians as the thugs roaming the streets, armed, dangerous.
We have solutions to these problems but it takes real men taking action, being responsible Dads, practicing some “tough love” and expecting a higher standard, not getting down on the same level.
Many Dads I’m seeing today are acting like juveniles and opting out of their God-given leadership roles.

which is why i don’t understand, why the DEMOCRATS are going after Weiner, for much less than Clinton or Edwards (or Teddy) did, yet they covered for them...
also, “pull out a knife and stab” isn’t funny, PERIOD.
(but i’m unusual i guess. i didn’t think the “funniest home video” segment on old people falling down, was funny either...)
And those of us who are “live and let live”, and want to be “libertarian” as far as letting people live as they want, but who also don’t see why society has to change the definition of marriage and other legal standards, are also considered hateful and bigoted.

If a gay comedian said “if I have a straight son or daughter I would pull out a knife and stab them for being straight”,
there would be no apology necessary!!
I miss the days of Bob Hope and Red Skelton.
They would make me laugh until it hurt, but they never spread poison, hate and discontent.
Somehow they managed to make people laugh without using foul language. They never called women bitch’s, whore’s, talked about sex or made jokes about killing cops and using illegal drugs.
People wonder why our country has devolved into such a sick and dangerous society... I have no such wonder.
Perhaps it’s because they know that they smell like a toilet.

He is a comedian and actor. What little I have seen of him; thought he was funny. Also thought he had a sense of humor; but guess not.
I’m sure he’s being sincere about this.
He’d only stab his son with a knife for being a Christian or a Republican.

Lack of judgment! Inappropriate? Why should people shell out all that money to go to a comedy club? Performers at comedy clubs were supposed to be irreverent. If comedians can’t be irreverent, and they’re not funny anyway, people are going to just stay home and watch Bill Maher on TV.
