It seems obvious Palin had just reviewed this particular fact of history in the library or wherever she was coming from. I didn’t know this about Paul Revere. Nobody in the media knew it until after they made fools of themselves.
Maybe Palin knew it already and maybe she didn’t—I don’t know and neither do you. In any case, none of us are any smarter than Palin. (Remember, when you’re looking for something presumed to exist, you’ll think you’ve found it until closer examination shows you were wrong.)

Look I like her all right, but I have the intellectual honesty to admit that this was a bad episode for her. Not so much the content, but the delivery which you refuse to address BTW.
She was trying too hard to demonstrate her pro-gun-ness. She wasn’t prepared. She should have just said “having a wonderful time”. No biggie.
It’s just super annoying to continually experience the spin coming from the Cult of Palin Worshippers. I don’t like spin of any flavor, liberal or conservative.
I don’t think she’s ready for prime time, others do. Okay. All I know in the end is that we MUST get rid of zero. If Palin gets the nom I’ll campaign hard for her. But I’m not backing her in the primaries. Deal with it.
She doesn’t have to demonstrate that she’s pro gun. If you don’t understand that, you’re so far behind I’d say just give up.
The delivery doesn’t bother me. It’s who she is. She can still conquer Obamacare and is the only one with the balls to do it.
The line “al quaeda’s never reckoned with a pit bull hockey mom” has real meaning. Palin has the wisdom and the strength to blow them to bits and let God sort em out.
Yup, they also did the same thing to G W Bush back in 1999. They lowered the expectations and raised the expectations of his opponent.
Guess how the debates went. ;)
Its funny, I remember reading about some polls right after the debate which gave the same paradoxical result. They thought that Gore "won" the debate, but on the question of who they would vote for they had shifted toward Bush and away from Gore. So in the way that counted Bush won...without actually winning.
