Well at least 61 out of 100 Americans still have a semblance of conscience.

Personal note: We were childless and I can still remember my lovely wife being asked when she was 43 and pregnant with twins whether or not she wanted an amniocentesis.

She stated emphatically NO, that she didn’t want to know and it didn’t matter, she was absolutely having them regardless.

I was never more proud of her.

Thanks be to God we have two beautiful 13 year old twins that make are life a joy daily.

By law my ob had to ask me if I wanted an amnio. I said no, because abortion wasn’t an option anyway.

The NP looked me in the eye and said *I wish more people felt that way*, and it was never an issue after that.

My ob group would NOT do abortions and the hospital had one of the lowest infant and maternal mortality rates in the state. I think it was God’s hand of blessing on them for honoring Him that way.
