US President Barack Obama dramatically changed US foreign policy - sandbagging Israel and aligning himself with PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas' preconditions for talks - when he called Thursday for a "full and phased withdraw of Israeli forces" from "occupied Palestinian lands" to the 1949 armistice borders that Israel's former Foreign Minister and UN ambassador in 1967, Abba Eban, referred to as the "Auschwitz borders."
Obama's comments came during his much anticipated policy address at the State Department in which he outlined the United State's new foreign policy for the Middle East and North Africa in light of the "spring revolutions" that have rocked the region.
Saying the world was tired of "nothing but stalemate" in the Arab-Israeli conflict, and complaining that "settlement activity continues" while the "Palestinians have walked away from talks," Obama said Israelis cannot obtain the dream of a democratic and Jewish state through "occupation."

I don’t know why some are acting so shocked. Obama has always shown his hatred for Israel, since the beginning. He has always sided with the Arabs because he is one of them. So all of the Jews who voted for him should stop pretending they had no clue. We ALL knew, and I bet those same Jews who voted for him will vote for him again in 2012 too..no one in Israel supports this a-hole..I think he has a 2 percent approval rating

How about a “full and phased” withdrawal from military involvement in Libya? As of Saturday, Obama will be in violation of the War Powers Act he expressly invoked when the whole thing began.
To come to think of it, Hosni Mubarak kept the peace with Israel during his rule. Other nations in the middle-east won’t dare attack without Egypt participation. The next president of Egypt might not guarantee peace with Israel.
Not that Arabs needed much of an excuse to go after the Israelis' but this has provided Arab's with cover for stepped up hatred and violence toward Israel - and later, for us.
Is the Coward-in-Chief willing to do the same himself?
If Israel is indeed thrown to the muslim wolves, I know I am willing to support her whether it is deemed "illegal" or not. I remember South Africa and Rhodesia, current African paradises.
