LOL WHAT? That's not accurate at all. FR was like the wild west back then. The forum is completely tame compared to the early days.
Sure the comments were not tame at all....but when I joined, VANITIES were not allowed.
Especially in the “news” forum.
Clicking on a thread you think is a news headline, and turns out to be just another Freeper lecturing how awful FR has become, is not my thing.
