How ‘bout this - drop the income tax and replace it with a national sales tax that includes internet sales.
This isn’t about a federal tax, it’s about congress authorizing the states to force business in other states to remit sales tax to them even thought those businesses use none of the distant states resources.
It’s just more revenue for the states to waste.

Excellent idea from 5thGenTexan — eliminate income taxes, and implement sales taxes in their place.
Not taxing internet sales hurts local businesses, but there are plenty of people who think that’s a good thing, while at the same time pissing and moaning about “new world order”, “crony capitalism”, the Jews, and other incoherent paranoid crap.
