Girl, 5, fights for life after being shot by turf row teen thugs

A GIRL of five was last night fighting for life after being shot by a gang of boys as young as 13.

Thusha Kamaleswaran was hit in the chest at a shop in South London.

IT’S an all too familiar story of crazed young thugs letting rip with guns in a vicious turf war.

But the latest battle on our city streets has ended with a girl of five clinging to life, an innocent victim of the mindless violence.

Thusha Kamaleswaran was blasted in the chest by teenage gunmen on bicycles, some as young as 13, as her mum watched on in horror.

She is believed to be the youngest ever victim of gun crime in England.

A 35-year-old shopkeeper, named only as Seela, was shot in the head during the same terrifying attack on a family-run off licence. He is said to have a bullet lodged in his brain.

The tragedy lays bare the dangers of David Cameron’s police cuts as critics fear frontline officers will be sacrificed to save cash.

Thusha was hit after three masked yobs aged 13 to 17 on bikes chased two other youths into the shop and unleashed a volley of shots with a silver handgun.

A bullet ripped through her chest, missing her heart and lungs by millimetres. Witnesses told of the horror. Kirubakaran Nantheesparan said: “There was so much blood. It was everywhere. The girl was lying on the ground and the mum ran over to her. She screamed, ‘Call the police’.

“The girl was on the ground, not saying anything. She was flat on one side. My friend was shot too. He was shot in the nose, he was my friend.”

Great Britain has gone so downhill, it makes one wonder if it will ever recover.

Not without a spiritual awakening and returning to God. Well less than 10% of the British actually attend church.

POLICE CAN NOT PREVENT CRIME. THEY CAN ONLY ARREST SUSPECTS.

AFTER THE FACT.

Armed civilians and public hanging within 60 days are the only changes that will deter criminals and eliminate recidivism. (That’s one bonehead word).

Westminster Abbey will be converted to rubble within the next century...or repurposed as a mosque.

“Off-licence (sometimes known as off-sales, Offie or beer-off in some areas) is a term used in the United Kingdom and Ireland for a shop licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for consumption off the premises, as opposed to a bar or public house which is licensed for consumption at the point of sale (on-licence). The term also applies to the licence granted to the establishment itself.”

I guess some of the criminals didn’t get the message.

Which is why we need stricter gun control, ‘cause regular gun control doesn’t seem to work like it’s supposed to.

The fact that Britain experienced periodic Christian revivals from the eighteenth until the early twentieth centuries may be a major reason why Jacobinism, fascism and Communism didn't take root there. Seems Britain could use another John Wesley or Gypsy Smith.

Right!

What they need in Britain is a total ban on hand gun ownership. Then things like this wouldn't happen. < /sarc >.

“Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse.” Gen. George Casey
These were really good boys. They were turning their lives around. We should not be so judgmental. Like Jimmy Carter said in his Playboy interview, “”Christ says don’t consider yourself better than someone else because one guy screws a whole bunch of women while the other guy is loyal to his wife.” I’m not sure which book that was in.

Wait, maybe if the UK gets MORE gun control, they will fix things.

Yeah, maybe make it a crime to show guns on TV, or in movies.

Perhaps, they can make the very mention of a gun illegal. (I think US public schools are pretty much already at this point.)

Clearly, what Britain needs is stricter gun control.

They need to make it illegal to even THINK about guns.

That will help the crime rate/s

No "WE" have not. They have. You have, maybe.

Me, most of the folks I know in Wyoming, a few old Hmong leftovers in Montana, and a couple of my Gurkha/Gurung pals? Not hardly.

HMONG.

Vang Pao, Hmong leader
The Montagnard Moses
Death of the general who led the Hmong into exile
Jan 13th 2011 | from the print edition

TO HIS followers, General Vang Pao was “the earth and the sky”, a natural-born leader of the mountain-dwelling Hmong tribes of Laos who fought with the Americans during the Vietnam war. When the Pathet Lao seized power in 1975, Vang Pao led his people into exile in America, where he died on January 6th, aged 81. He never set foot again in his native Laos.

Mr Vang’s guerrilla army, backed and financed by the CIA and opium sales, was a vital cog in the American war machine. His men attacked Communist forces along the Ho Chi Minh trail that snaked through north-east Laos, and rescued downed American bomber pilots. Some 35,000 Hmong died in battle.

Vang Pao’s war was a secret one; Laos was officially neutral. That stopped neither North Vietnam’s Communists nor the Americans nor Mr Vang. Leading his troops into battle, he was badly wounded. Yet he found time to marry several wives and was said to have fathered at least 20 children.

The Hmong picked the losing side in a conflict that spilled over into civil war in Laos. After Communist victory in 1975, tens of thousands of Hmong fled overland into Thailand, and then California and Minnesota. Vang Pao leant on his network of former spooks, soldiers and diplomats to twist arms in Washington, DC, and win help for his kinsmen.

Rag-tag Hmong rebels remain in the remote jungles of Laos. For Vang Pao, it was unfinished business. In old age he may have dreamed of a comeback.

>>>>In 2007 American prosecutors accused him of plotting the overthrow of the Lao government by recruiting mercenaries to seize the capital. The charges were later dropped, and the whole case then collapsed. <<<< !!!!

Asked last week about his death, Laos said it had no comment. Its Communist rulers have other matters to attend to. On January 11th Laos opened its first stock exchange. Times have changed.
