Well put, if unions are SO great, of course their members will follow them and vote accordingly. But the problem is the intimidation of those who don't do what da Boss says. Den we gots us a problem.

BTW, what the HELL is the deal with the state directly taking out union dues out of paychecks? To the exclusive benefit of the democrats. Imagine the poop that would hit the fan if there was a "Koch Brothers tax" taken directly from the citizens to benefit republicans specifically?

Let them do it. 10 dirty days could very well be 10 dirty jobs.
What’s done is done. The children can go back out to play.

Meanwhile, new contracts are being negotiated and signed by local government agencies before it goes into effect. Another Dem dirty trick....

And the new rules will not take effect for that group until the contract expires, and some places are negotiating contracts of three years duration. So this is a process that will be dragged out over the next three years, it will not fully take effect immediately.

Forbid local governments to collect union dues from employees' paychecks. -------------------------------------

Libs can't get elected in this country without the spoils. Union dues are funneled to Dems as political campaign contributions (Can you say 'kickbacks'?).

View these leftist union leaders as thieves in the night. They won't stop until the money stops.

Democrats are the Forrest Gump of American politics.

If they can get a few Al Franken supporters to count the ballots, we already know the outcome.

“Salary increases would still be limited to the rate of inflation unless approved by voters in a referendum.”

This, alone, is just so ef-ing AWESOME!

(Excuse my French; I’m a little worked up over all of this. It’s hard to maintain a positive state of mind when I have the LibTards beating on my head every day in this stupid city, so these little tid-bits cheer me up greatly!!)

I wish the final clause would have BANNED the public sector unions outright as being totalitarian, socialist bands of thugs & hoodlums.

Oh, they noticed all right - for about 40 years they have noticed that the Public unions are the last refuge of the union thug & scoundrel.

This is the major position from which they can buy votes with money that is not theirs and, in effect, hold government taxpayers, aka “serfs,” hostage to their wielding of such power.

RTW states are reaping the rewards. I make just as much without the union. Don’t let the slaves know that.

Take a look at my profile page.
When I moved to a RTW state I started to earn real wealth.

Took a while, it did, for that fact to permeate my thick skull...

I moved from the west to a “southern” state and my free money exploded to my favor. The socialists can kiss it.

So the unions don’t care what these 3 year deals will do to the Wisconsin economy? It’s almost like they want to ruin the economy to make Gov. Walker look bad./s I guess they don’t care if the average Joe is hurt in the process....

“I just don’t understand. If the union is such a great, almighty wonderful thing that the thugs are proclaiming it to be, why will it be hard for them to convince their rank and file to vote annually to confirm their membership or the union’s existence?”

It like tax withholding. Out of sight out of mind.

Gov. Walker, on Fox News, said that his signature put the bill in force and that the publication of the bill was a formality.........

To stay alive, the unions will have to meet a much higher standard in their vote than Walker and other state elected officials had to meet to win their offices - getting 51% of the vote of all their union members, not just the ones who actually cast ballots.
