Well.. get this... Our Socialistic Governor met with Mr. Obama recently. Our governor has agreed that Arkansas will be the first state to implement Obamacare. Mr. Beebe announced this to the leadership at the Capitol yesterday. He will be changing Medicare by his own power, very likely in April or May. He is clearly on the side of the Socialist. After learning this Mr. Garner will not be presenting his capital gains tax bill tomorrow.
The big question is what is Beebe (D-AR) getting in return? He obviously knows what happened to Blanche Lincoln.
Secondly, Why is the Gov. of the state (that went one of the most red (behind WI)last election ) agreeing to this horrible bill even though the state wants it defeated 70%+?
Right now, local talk-radio anchor Dave Elswick of KARNnewsradio.com is calling for hundreds of people to show up to tommorrow Health committee at the Arkansas State capital. IMHO, it should dwarf what the WI state capital has looked like lately. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!
Mass. and W Virginia are already test cases.

There already has been a test, or rather an on-going test of Obamacare. Look at Massachusetts.

Besides, it’s Unconstitutional.
But this is how it OUGHT to happen.
Federalism lets the states be their own laboratories. Like RomneyCare. Let them do it and let them bear the consequences.
That’s what’s wrong with Obamacare fundamentally, it destroys the state independence.
With any luck zer0 will step on his stethoscope next week and Judge Vinson will declare the whole thing unconstitutional and shut it down.

Wrong...state RATS shouldn't collude with socialists on federal programs without the State Leg and Senate, and hell, a "shout out" to the people about his devious plans.
I have a friend in Massachusetts with whom I argue the Nationalized Medicine issue. She was pretty Conservative until her health care plan dropped her when she was diagnosed with a polyp in her colon (before Romneycare). Now she wants Nationalized Medicine because Massachusetts can’t afford their plan alone. I pointed out to her that doing that would require people in other states to carry Mass. health care costs and what do those other states do with their own skyrocketing costs if they are carrying Massachusetts? I said I thought it should be a States rights issue. Any State wanting a Socialized Medical system is welcome to change to it. Then if people don’t want to live with Socialized Medicine they can move to another state. She was speechless.
As an aside, if the Ark. Gov. is doing this, you can bet Obama will cook the books to make it look successful. That is the only way Obama can achieve ANY success with ANY of his ideas. Cheating.

What is he getting in return? Maybe you should ask, what does Obama have on him.
This could always be a Clinton setup. Obamacare comes to Arkansas, it fails miserbly to a point of indictments and “Hillary to the Green room please.”
In exchange Bebe gets a spot in the administration.

There are numerous ways to protest this. Should we call?? Write?? E-mail?? What is the most effective way to protest this?? I can’t drive down there tomorrow to the Capital or I would.
Why Arkansas? How will this affect WalMart based out of Arkansas. Seems kind of suspicious. When does it go into effect. what happens if Walmart says that is it and pulls up and moves it corporate headquarters to Texas. Walmart - well we will be damned to be forced into Obamacare because throughout the Us all are other associates at sam’s and walmarts would be affected and no one would shop at either place and thus the unemployment level would rise even higher thus defeating ObamaCare and making a single payer system mandatory. Unless walmart does accept and it does screw Wal mart too.
I do not shop at Walmart, since I have to drive to either Marquette or Houghton to go to Walmart. Generally Pamida or Snyders are okay.
For once I can say, “It’s great to live in Michigan!”
Not only is MA the first test case, but AR would not even be in the top 20...
There is the test case in VA (aka, the Henry Hudson case)
Then, there was the test case in FL (Vinson case).

I graduated from high school with a guy who’s a rich, big shot farmer....former president of the Arkansas Farm Bureau. He campaigned and endorsed the republican for senate but supported Beebe for governor. He said to a friend “Beebe’s not doing that bad a job.”
Arkansas racists helped elect and re-elect Clinton (the first black president) for governor. It’s not possible to understand the mind of a southern liberal.
I think Tennessee would also consider itself a test case as well (Tenncare).
Unfortunately I now believe Vinson won’t do anything to stop Obamacare.
