CLEVELAND, Texas – Four more Cleveland ISD students were arrested Friday in connection with the alleged gang rape of an 11-year-old middle school student, district officials said.
The four new suspects bring the total number of arrests in the case to 15.
A district spokesperson said the students will face charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony.
Their names have not been released, because Cleveland police said the suspects are minors.
Investigators say the incident occurred over the Thanksgiving holiday in an abandoned mobile home in Cleveland.
The girl reported the alleged assault to her principal’s office in early December. She told school officials she was raped by as many as 20 men and boys.
Texas Rangers and Cleveland police searched a mobile home near the corner of Ross and 2nd Street after the report was made, and officers also processed a second, unnamed scene for evidence.
Investigators confiscated some cell phones, but they would not confirm or deny if there were video recordings made of the assault that were shown around the community.
The suspects previously arrested in the case are: Jared Glenn McPherson, 18; Kelvin Rashad King, 21; Marcus Anthony Porchia, 26; Devo Shaun Green, 20; Xavier King, 17; Eric Bernard McGowan, 19; Jared Len Cruse, 18; Isaiah Rashad Ross, 21; Timothy Daray Ellis, 19; Rayford Tyrone Ellis, Jr., 19, and Jamarcus Norris Napper.

If I recall correctly, in the initial batch of arrests, one of the men was the son of a Cleveland ISD official.
How do any man look at an 11 year old little girl and think sex? Much less 20 of them?!
Look at their faces, not a damn one of them is repentant.
Poor child.

Men maybe not, depraved filth sure. - all depends on how they were raised. Whatever the reason, this bunch is beyond trying to reform. Just shoot 'em all in the head and be done with it.
Before I get flamed as a Whoopie Goldbooger apologist with a “rape-rape” mentality, let me agree with those who have not been reading up on this sad story.
Yes, these men and boys need to be tried and convicted of rape.
But having said that - this girl did consent. It was not forced. And yeah, I know she is not of the legal age to consent. But having read her Facebook, and other news reports of this crime, I can say this was not a violent attack.
If I were a juror - I would find them guilty. But I’m guessing that none of them will do any serious time. Probably be added to the sex offender lists. Then sent home.

Years ago(1960?) I saw an oak tree on US 17 close to Brunswick, Georgia that had a historic sign posted that said said tree was used to hang 26 pirates at one time.
Maybe someone in SE Georgia can confirm.

I wonder how that happens?/s And I imagine the boys parent must be oh so proud of their little boys who ,no doubt according to them, just were hanging around the wrong crowd but starting to get their life together.

Seriously speaking, I am getting quite concerned over Texas as being a viable place to live in. It’s getting bad. The area where I live has considerably changed and I’m feeling nervous going out to the grocery store at night. I’ve lived here all my life, my family is here and now I’m feeling like I have to move out of state or to the panhandle. Seems a person can’t put down roots anymore.
As I said, I’ve been “reading up on this sad story”.

This article is cheap TV journalism. The better wriiten articles do (fairly, I believe) show how the victim willingly engaged in sexual intercourse with a few dozen men. Even the videos show her to be having a good time.
Only because she is under-aged, and unable by law to consent to sex, are these pukes being charged with rape. As they should be.
Your honor, please have mercy on Rashad King, Devo Green, and Jamarcus Napper! They were locked in fierce competition for a Rhodes Scholarship and, well, the pressure was too much! This is really a reflection of the hyper-competitive academic environment in the ghetto, where “black panther moms” accept nothing but academic excellence and don’t let their sons date or blow off steam in any way... or simply be children.
There is a rapidly growing subculture in this nation which cares not one iota for the sanctity of life. An “urban culture” it is called.
Reject anything associated with it, as nothing good comes from it.
