At times ever a choir may become discordant. Freepers are flesh and blood human beings, and can be fearful just like anybody else.

It was the best German aircraft built during the war, and is a work of art. Simply because one admires the engineering of the plane itself doesn't mean that one admired the Third Reich.

And I didn't take offense that you used "Butcher Bird" name. Allied pilots nicknamed the FW190 "Butcher Bird" because it took them by surprise, suddenly taking back the sky for Germany.
P51 Mustang, Supermarine Spitfire, Typhoon are all romanticized allied aircraft names but "Butcher Bird" sounds like a greasy vulture.

I am waiting for the first congress critter to say that Islam does not belong in the USA. (But I won’t hold my breath until it happens.)
We may call Europeans, Euroweenies and give them other derogatory names, but when the time is right they will not hesitate to get rid of muslims using force if necessary.
In America we have to content with the idea that we are “a country of immigrants” not understanding that no immigrant group poses such a great danger to our very survival as the Muslims do.
