Jim went to the VA hospital this afternoon for his scheduled checkup.
They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.
When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.

Hey, small world. I just at the local VA hospital visiting with our Pack of Cub Scouts a number of hospitalized veterans. One of whom was a diabetic who had already lost one leg and was in to have the other removed.
You would never know it from the way he and the others carried on and enjoyed their time with the boys.
